Always great customer service. They make you feel at home. That's all I can say about the people who work there. The pricing is average, but can't beat the service.

Took the long drive from Kailua to the only store on da Island that had the adapter I needed for my outdoor faucet. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the clean organized layout of the store and the great Aloha vibes from the employees here. "Claire" was the definitive 5-Star Standout on this visit! Her relentless search for the parts I needed for my sprinkler repair was way above and beyond my expectations. I was about to give up when she urged me to hold on, and came through with the successful resolution to my problem. I also roamed the pristine isles of this hardware haven and also found a modern kink resistant modern hose and a few planter boxes to finish up my honey over do list! At check out, I received a military discount as a veteran and that extra Aloha that made me feel like a valued customer! Hardware Hawaii lived up to " Customer First!" Five Fabulous Stars for *Service *Selection *Extra Effort *Savings & * Da Kine of Aloha that puts Customer's First!

Five stars!! Came here for the first time not long ago for some gardening supplies. Saw a sign that they do auto key copies which I need since I only had one when I bought the car. Frank and Bo helped me with it and they were so nice!! We were confused about the PIN at first but they figured it out and I had a new car key in like 10 min flat, MUCH faster than I was quoted. Very affordable, highly recommend! And also Frank and Bo thank you I hope you deserve a raise for being so awesome!

If you are not an expert on what items you need, Hardware Hawaii is the place for you. It's easy to get an associate to help you, and they are there with you until you're satisfied with their help. Other hardware stores do not spend the time with you.

I'd highly recommend this place for duplicate keys! Their price is significantly lower than the "big box" hardware stores & they also have a bigger selection of key blanks too.

This store has the best customer service. The staff is always smiling and willing to help find what you're looking for. Located on the corner of Lauwiliwili Street - a small drive from Costco Kapolei - they have lots of parking.I love the Hawaiian Discovery furniture they have displayed in the front of the store - Locally made and beautiful craftsmanship. Plus the prices aren't too bad for solid wood patio furniture.

I’ve been coming here every time I can’t find what I’m looking for at another hardware store, and boom just like that I find what I’m looking for. I always get greeted when I enter and workers always seem to ask me if they can be of any assistance to me. I like how they pay attention to the customers wants, and adds in what I can do if I use something different that can do the same job for what I’m doing.I do like that it’s located right here in kapolei that I can jump on the freeway from Makakilo and take the 2nd exit and right into the town and it’s like less than a 4-5 drive and park depending on the traffic at the time I head there.Pretty much if they don’t have what’s needed they will be good with helping me order it or finding it somewhere.Mahalo for everything,Mana

I found them easy to work with and hard and diligent in their work. Respond to emails and questions and even negotiate they are easy to work. I'm not a contractor exactly but a customer but they still works with me normally they work with professionals but they still work with everyday people. Good job

Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent selection of wood stains, furniture touch up pens and other wood products. They carry both the Minwax and Varathane products where as the big box stores each carry one but not the other. I just wish their prices were closer to the big box stores. They don't match prices. Still worth it if Home Depot Kapolei doesn't carry it ie: Minwax and you don't want to drive to Waikele or Pearl to Lowes. Love that it’s local as well.

I support all local hardware stores, so I can have choices besides the big box stores from the mainland. Hardware Hawaii, City Mill, Pioneer Ace Hardware give me alternatives. That said, I wish all of them would really be interested in what I have to say because the big box stores do some things really nice, like not hassling me about returns, for example. Or give me attitude. Or checking on my ID when it's not necessary. To the local guys, get rid of the online ordering - you're clueless. Get rid of of your online websites - if you can't spend the money to get it right, better not to have it at all. I mean, try to use the search feature and you'll know what I mean.
