Called asking about a ps4. Will answered and was extremely rude when I asked about the price for one to consider my options. Would not tell me the price on a base ps4 until I told him I did not care a d just wanted to know the price. Rude af and should not work here

i went to this gamestop to return a controller that wasn't working. I called ahead and she had an attitude, I was telling her what happened and the only things she said were "mhm" and "okay?" I asked her if she had the same controller in stock so i can replace my controller that wasn't working, she said "mhm." so I go down their to get the controller, she tries to give a controller grip and i tell her I don't want that and she just rolls her eyes at me. turns outs they didn't even have the controller in the first place, very irritating and time wasting experience.

I've been shopping here for years. The team has always been very helpful to us. Today Sarah was solo during our visit. She was super helpful in getting me a print out of my preorders and during check out helped me use a bunch of my saved points for discounts on the total.

Their hours were wrong, when I knocked to verify they looked at me and turned around as if they didn't. Their hours posted were 0900-0800pm and it was 815.

I purchased a electronic item at your gamestop in kapolei. I came there because you're the only store that have the one item that I needed when I got there. I spoke to the manager and she said that I can return it at any time providing. I try keeping it in the same original Box and I have the receipt so I went there today. To try to return the item the sales lady behind the counter said nope you only have 15 days. I said OK what about what the manager told me ? She said It doesn't matter what she said on the receipt. It tells you 15 days. So I got highly upset when I walked away. I asked her if she can get a touch with the manager. She said no so then I said so what's the store is burning down? Can you get a text to the manager then and she still said no? Highly dissatisfied

All I went in for was an SD card, after not being able to find it I asked the worker behind the counter. He proceeds to just turn and look behind him to look at it as if I knew exactly where it was and didn't say anything. Then hounds me for any phone number linked to a GameStop account. None of them which worked. Not a big deal to me, but don't push a customer for a number if they just say no. I don't go to GameStop much. To the over weight white guy working there. If you don't like your job, quit. Doesn't hurt to be a little more personable. You're just an a*******

There are always two sides to a story and I'd like to share my review to the negative reviews given to the worker "Gabriella" at the Kapolei location. I was also waiting in the long line on this very busy Black Friday, it was crazy, and witnessed the interaction between the customer who gave the bad review and worker, "Gabriella". First off, I commend the worker for keeping her composure as it was the customer who was rude and reeked of entitlement. The customer voiced several times how "ridiculous" it was that the worker could not give them the free game they wanted (Buy 2, Get 1). The worker explained the reason and said they could chose another game, but this customer only heard what she wanted to hear, which was that she couldn't have it. Even the customers son chimed in and questioned the worker with the same questions that the worker had already explained the reason. And yes, the customer did ask for the manager, who had already gone home the day. Which the customer also thought was ridiculous. Now when it came to the worker offering the protection, it was the CUSTOMER that repeatedly interrupted the worker as she spoke. The worker stopped until the customer was done ranting and continued her job in explaining the benefits of getting game protection. My family and I shop at this store often and have been assisted by this worker. She has ALWAYS been very helpful and is knowledgeable in the stores products and policies. I've saved a ton of money with the protection plans. So for that customer to say this worker should be fired (over ONE video game, mind you) for doing her job right, just because this customer couldn't get her way, is RIDICULOUS. I give this GameStop 5 Stars!! Its the holiday season 2022, lets do better and be kinder to one another..

The Kapolei Gamestop staff were probably the most rude and inept individuals I have ever encountered in a customer-staff situation. Went in on black friday with my family for the buy 2 get one free used game deal for XBOX One. Was "helped" by a woman named Gabriella, she was rude and didn't have any human relations skills at all; I'm talking looking at the floor talking over you and ignoring me straight up when I spoke to her. Also the male with a man-bun left us mid conversation to help another customer (made us wait over 30mins) the worst gamestop experience I have ever had. We will never EVER go there again. If I could leave zero stars I would. Gabriella needs to be fired. She would not stop telling us to buy insurance for our used games, even after we said no 3 times she kept asking us. I didn't want to argue so I said finish our transaction so we can leave... She continued with pushing the insurance for the games trying to guilt us into buying it she said we couldn't bring the games back if they didn't work... Blatant lie. Don't shop at this location. F-

On November 19, at around 6 pm, I was helped by a white man with a ponytail who was wearing a Dragon Ball Z shirt. On my receipt, his name is William.My experience at this location was not pleasant because of an employee named William. While standing in line waiting to be assisted, he called for me. I went up, reciprocated his greeting, and asked for a wireless controller. While talking, he cuts me off and says, "the answer is no."I chuckled as I understood he was joking around. I make my request again, and he continues saying, "the answer is no," another 2-3 times. I ignored his immature behavior and continued, wanting this trip to be in and out. As he was ringing me up, he asked if I wished to get a warranty for my controller. I declined the warranty, and he was visibly upset and was super pushy with wanting me to get the warranty, even after declining a couple of times. After listening to him offer a warranty profusely, I jokingly responded with"the answer is no."He looks at me with a stern glare, whispers something under his breath, and gives me a snarky response: "don't blame me if your controller ends up getting the drift." Again, I ignored his behavior, reached for my item, and walked off.When reflecting on the situation, I realized he was being super disrespectful. I returned five minutes later to obtain a refund on the controller, and that is when he started being nice.GameStop, please find employees that are kind to customers and respect their decisions. We do not need William, who is rude to customers during checkout, to ruin our gaming experience. The location in Waikele is way better in customer service. Avoid this GameStop.
