My issue with this corporation is not how the movers handled my items on the date of delivery. I was told by the main office they will not send anyone to pick up my empty boxes after the movers said otherwise. I’ve called multiple times to speak to a manager and, surprisingly, they’re never available. This puts me in the spot of having to discard the boxes myself in which this should be the responsibility of Covan World-Wide Moving Inc. If this company wasn’t chosen by the military, I most definitely would not have selected them for their business. Looking at the other reviews, the military should end their contract and select a different moving company.

They will unload all of your belongings into a warehouse and reload your belongings into another truck if your new home is not available when the truck arrives into the new location. When they do this they have no regard for the items in the shipment which they steal, lose, and break. What a horrible company!! They suck!!

Just moved from Hawaii through the military. Arrived in ft Campbell. Let's just say I received a car set for Christmas from my husband and ordered extra stuff for it from Amazon and when we got to our destination the VR AND EVERYTHING I BOUGHT FOR IT IS GONE! I put them with my husbands game system and I went to work. They didn't inventory it because they knew they would steal it. They didn't package items well because our 65 tv is cracked band we are missing the top half of our couch and a whole lot of damaged items. I don't recommend. If you have to use them look over their shoulder every step of the way. I'm mad that we bought them lunch only for theft to be on their minds. Good thing we have receipts and will be filing a claim! They really get negative 5 starts from me ... Ghetto !

ZERO STAR!!!Worst company ever that moved my stuff from GA to CA.They lost/theft my PC that contain PII and my 65" TV and other small stuff.Will never use this company again and maybe I should file a police report.

Below zero star! Do not ever use this company! They will not care for your items. They do not wrap things when they put them in boxes. When they were on the loading end I had to have someone removed from my home because I watched him throw my glass picture frames into boxes. He broke 9 of them that I saw on pack out. I am on the receiving end today and we have thousands!!! In damage. Broken TV, broken computer, broken vanity, broken bed, broken refrigerator. This is not a joke! Stay away from this company! Almost forgot, there was water damage in 5 of the crates and ALL of the signed seals were broken or missing.

stay away! they should no longer be contracted by the dod to move our servicemembers. 0 stars. lost all of my high value items and severely scratched the floors and walls to both my old house and new apartment. fighting for claims. they are scammers. run away from covan!

This was absolutely the worst moving experience we've ever had. They came in to pack our house and we're throwing their dirty poke bowl containers and empty water bottles together with our stuff that was getting packed, and said that those boxes were trash. To our surprise, we checked these boxes and at the bottom was our stuff. We were lucky to catch that. They also took apart all of our furniture, and threw screws and furniture legs in a random box. We pray our items can be put back together. They only took inventory on the last day after all boxes were packed, so there's no indication of what was packed inside the boxes. We are still waiting for our stuff to arrive and we are bracing ourselves for what we are going encounter when our items arrive. To top things off, the movers overflew our toilet with packing paper after I had finished cleaning the bathroom. This was a total nightmare of an experience. I wish I could give them a 0 star review.

Almost all of our large furniture items suffered damage or were completely ruined upon arrival. They showed up for only a few hours the first day, the second day they showed up at around 5 pm after being told our window was 8-10 am. I had to convince the agency that they needed to send a extra people for a full day on the last day of pack out in order to get us packed out on time. They continued to push back, but it took all day the next day with 3-5 workers for them to complete the job by 6 pm. We were leaving off the island the next day. The movers asked us to take apart the furniture-which they are supposed to do themselves and continually asked if things we were clearly moving were going and acted annoyed when we said yes. They had my husband carrying stuff downstairs for them, and asked me at 7 months pregnant to take apart furniture "to speed up the move". I would never recommend this company to anyone, I would recommend all military families put this company on the do not want list.

So their Hawaii office packed us out for a military move on orders. It was a nightmare from the start! The packers didn't tell me their names (there was 4 of them) I was alone as my husband was away at a training. First day they were only there for an hour. Second day they never came (I guess I told them it was okay which I didn't) what was supposed to be the third and final day my house was barely packed when I had to leave to ship my car. I had to have them leave and they had to come back on a Saturday. 4th day comes around (mind you we were scheduled for only 3 days) only two show up and finish my pack out. Well fast forward to us getting our belongings due to "peak season" took over a month! We are unloading and come to find out the packers STOLE yes STOLE our Samsung R650 sound system! (See pictures of it in use and the box upon arrival) I TOLD the packers to put the sound system in the ORIGINAL BOX. Well they packed the box empty! It arrived at our home empty and broken! They also DIDNT list this item on the inventory or tag the box! I called the Hawaii office from San Diego (our new duty station) and reported it to the general manager and he opened an investigation. I also followed all needed steps for a claim! Hopefully we get the money back to replace it. I 100% do not recommend Covan Worldwide Moving unless you want your expensive items stolen, broken or not listed on the inventory!

I can't describe how poorly our items were packed. Every box I've opened has had broken items due to poor packing process. Also, we had a partial delivery, so we have mattresses, but no complete bed frames, tables without legs, no living room furniture, etc. -We had kitchen plates stacked 8-10 deep with ZERO paper in between the plates, as an example. I've had 13 military moves, and this is, by far the worst experience. Lastly, we didn't know we were receiving a partial delivery until the driver arrived. When we contacted the agent office, they had no driver on the schedule to deliver our living furniture, etc. Who knows how long this punishment is going to last... *I've made 14 moves in my 28 year military career, never have I seen this level of "give a s**** in my life. Never again with COVAN, the claim will be horrid and painful I expect.

Cannot recommend you stay away from this company enough. If you're military and you see they've selected Covan as your moving coordinator, be very afraid. After promising an end of May delivery for a wine shipment, the date was changed to NLT June 30. As of today, I got a email notification that the shipment wasn't ready, and they had no idea when it would be. My Italian wines that my wife and I went to pains to select are currently sitting in a metal crate on ship without climate control. Thanks to their abysmal practices and incompetence with shipping a product like wine, I'm sure to have a $2000 vinegar collection. Thanks for nothing, Covan.
