Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Salon over all just had a nice vibe. Julie did an AMAZING job on my nails, they are beyond cute! 12/10 would highly recommend!

Visiting from stateside and wanted to go somewhere close to where we were staying. I was able to get a same day appointment and Nya gave me one of the best pedicures I’ve had. Highly recommend!

husband booked a full acrylic set with gel for me. whoever he spoke to booked it as a manicure and gel. went in early, was told to come back 5 minutes before my appointment time. came back at 455. when i checked in and confirmed a full acrylic set with gel, they informed me it was booked as a manicure with gel polish. they said there wasn’t enough time for them to do a full set acrylic and i can come back tomorrow? like damn i booked it for today and waited around. the 2 ladies were so damn rude up front, saying i heard him say manicure. when he consistently kept saying full set. shouldn’t have even booked me if you couldn’t do a full set.

My hair stylist is Alyssa, she is super sweet and understands everything I want to be done to my hair. She’s quick, I’ve not had one bad hair due. I recommend her to all of my friends. 100% will be staying with cosmic beauty and Alyssa.

Cosmic beauty is a really great pampering station and as an added bonus, they are all super sweet, down to earth, as they make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I absolutely love coming into Cosmic beauty as it is a great location, hygienic, premier nail salon that redefines the concept of indulgence and relaxation. Julie the owner has an unwavering commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, she stands out with top-notch nail services in a serene atmosphere. She is a highly skilled technician who provides meticulous attention to detail with a blend of professionalism, young talent, and a talented stylist . Jarae the young stylist welcomed me as I walked in Jarae saying she was thinking what would suit me best as soon as I made the appointment ......awww that in itself showed love and care for a client !! I'm terrible at describing what I want so I went with one of the styles she suggested Voila !! she crafted my hair so perfectly totally changing the way my hair frames my face. I have gotten so many compliments! She is also just super sweet and I really appreciate her upbeat energy. Her recommendation was so well thought out and spot on. I really had a great experience and my hair looks and feels phenomenal. If you are looking for a new hairstylist please use Jarae you will not regret it or just a new salon, this is it! Everyone was super nice and I definitely left there with a pep in my step and a huge smile on my face.

Had a mani/pedi appointment with Kiara!! Had a very pleasant experience. She accommodated my request and took the time to look for the color I wanted for my nails. Very informative and very easy to talk with... we had a great conversation throughout the whole appointment. Will definitely come again

This place is a scam!! I originally scheduled my mom's appointment for a mother's day gift at 5pm (2hrs before closing) because my mom works late, and they were okay to see her for a pedicure and haircut. My mom shows up and they charged her $80 for an uneven trim when she asked them for layers, $85 for a pedicure they didn't finish and then added on $143 to color her hair the SAME COLOR she already had, knowing they had NOT TIME for a color. I live in a different state & called to pay over the phone & my bill was over $300!! My mom said they pressured and manipulated her into getting the color which she absolutely hated because she saw no difference at all. They pressured her into getting a wash prior to her haircut which they charged me an additional $35 for and she didn't even want a wash. They called me to pay an additional $35 for gel and all the extras with her pedicure, which they never applied. I tipped $20 over the phone and my mom said they were asking her to tip them again after she was done. I told my mom you are never to return to that place ever again. To make matters worst, they were rushing my mom to get out there and didn't style her hair and even sent a 18 year old inexperienced cashier to do my mom's pedicure. They rushed her haircut and hair color as well and said sorry ma'am we don't have time. I told my mom to schedule an appointment to go back and finish everything but they told her she was done & them kicked her out. My mom was crying after she left, she said the place was so unorganized and a total nightmare. The cashier who was doing her pedicure cut her deep and left scabs. She also did not get a finished product on any of the services I paid for. What a way to scam your customers. My mom had a horrible experience here and I will make sure everyone i know NEVER EVER comes here.

My daughter was charged over $100 for a gel manicure with acrylics by Judy. I asked to speak with a manager and she was the "head manager" and "her time" is valuable and there was nothing she could do. I was treated so unkindly by staff at this salon. I really like the stylist I was seeing at the time and had been multiple times. I showed up for an appointment one day and was told that the stylist was out (it happens - totally understandable) and someone else would see me. The receptionist sat me in a chair and then came several minutes later to tell me that the other stylist was not available. I rescheduled for later that day. A bit later I received a call and was asked to reschedule again for that evening. At this point I told them no thank you and went someone else. I'm not sure what happened here, but it was hurtful and I won't be back.

I truly don't trust anyone with my hair except for ALYSSA. I started going to her back in 2020 & I started off with just a simple haircut. My hair was completely black, never been dyed before. Over the years I've gotten braver with what I wanted to do with my hair & every single time Alyssa always was very supportive of all my crazy hair ideas. I went from dyeing my hair red to pink to purple-pink to ash blonde to light brown back to red-pink. My hair journey has been a long one but every single time Alyssa has never disappointed. I tell her over and over again that I am hiring her to do my hair for my wedding (when I get married) and she will continue to do my hair till the end of time. She is so amazing, knowledgeable, and skillful at what she does One of my favorite things about her is she is always transparent with what she can & can't do. This means that she never sugar coats and makes promises that she can't keep. She walks you through the process of how to achieve your hair dreams & always explains what she is doing as she's working on your hair. She'll also give you advice on what products to use and how to maintain it. I have received multiple compliments from friends, colleagues & even strangers on all my hairstyles & I always refer them to her. You'd be a fool to NOT go to her for all your hair needs because she is truly the BEST. Don't take my word for it, look at the my results!! 1000/10 recommend!!

Went in for a a silver BALAYAGE, stylist gave me these weird HIGHLIGHTS that went a quarter way to my roots and made it look like an outgrown full head dye that looked like that the SAME day I got my hair done. Paid $400 for it and it looks like I did it at home. Stylist was 25 minutes late and they didn't put my $50 deposit toward anything and would have kept it if I hadn't called for it back. Spend your money somewhere else. EDIT: after multiple people telling me my hair didn't look like a balayage (not 5 weeks later, the day I got it done!) I finally decided to say something because of how upset other people were about how my hair turned out) The picture was also taken about 2 weeks after it was done and google lets you know that hair will typically grow about one-tenth of an inch in that time span so what conclusion do we come to ladies and gentlemen...Also the stylist TEXTED me 5min later letting me know she'd be late and did in fact show up over 20 min late , nevertheless spend your money and time elsewhere!! no other reputable salon even has as many 1 stars as this place, which says a lot be sassy manager, love it.

This was my first time going to Cosmic Beauty, and it won't be my last. I had a great experience. I just recently had a baby, almost 4 months and it's really hard to have time to do anything. Luckily my mom was able to watch baby for a couple hours. I was in need of a hair cut so I called Cosmic beauty at 3:15pm to see if they had any openings & luckily they had one at 4:15pm. Location is located in Ka Makana mall, closest to Macys side, I really love the location because there's always parking on that side of the mall. When entering I was welcomed by a worker at the front counter. Let her know I had an appointment, she told me the person just finished her client and that I could have a seat to wait. I literally only sat for 3-5 mins, which is not bad at all!! I've had hair appointments BEFORE where I would wait 20-45 mins for a stylist even with a appointment. SO THIS WAS AMAZING. My hair stylists name was Tiffany, who was really nice and really professional. I normally do a long layer, really easy basic. She asked me questions no other hair stylists asked me before, which shocked me. I really liked that because I learned something new and she was just very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure she would do my hair the way I liked. Overall my experience was amazing. From booking the appointment, the moment I walked in and the moment I walked out. The only thing I had a problem with was I didn't get a receipt of my hair cut, but it's partially my fault, I didn't ask but that would've been nice.
