“As an Executive Elite member of National Rental Car, this was by far the absolute best experience I’ve ever encountered at National Rental Car in LAX. The agent Christina in LAX went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of. I normally rent using the Executive option and the options of cars that were available at the time did not meet my needs for this business trip but Christina made sure that I would get the car I needed. She walked me through some different options that weren’t available right off the bat. The attention and service that I received was as I said by far the best experience I’ve had at the LAX location. I travel a lot through LAX, so I hope I have Christina again just because I appreciated her service so much!”

“Booked a car in November 2023 and walked past the lines of people waiting at the other car rental places and was thrilled to basically walk up to the counter second in line. As for the vehicle I rented I did have an issue with the height of the seat, called the office and they asked me to come back and upgraded no charge to an suv. Returning the vehicle was just as easy and I always prefer to book Enterprise. Never an issue”

“I found a really good deal for an SUV at Sixt for a party of seven and let me tell you the vehicle we got was a new white GMC Acadia, every time we go to Honolulu I rent from hertz, enterprise or budget but my experience in those places has never been good, the reason I never rented from Sixt because of the reviews but the vehicle we got from Sixt was clean, and smell good it had a few scratches in the back from people loading and unloading their luggage which is normal, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and was in and out in less than 10 minutes went up the stairs found the Sixt office and got my vehicle it took me about 30 minutes that's from waiting for the shuttle at the terminal until I got my vehicle. This teaches me that yelp is a good source for finding places but the reviews are not alway fair.Thank you Sixt.”

“We didn't rent from this location. We picked our car at the Airport. We came to visit our Grandson who is stationed at Scofield Barracks. I needed to add him to the contract so he could do the driving, since he knows the whole island. I don't remember the name of the young lady that helped us, but she was awesome. It was so nice that we didn't have to go back to the airport location to do this. She was very knowledgeable and helped us get a great deal on top of the great deal we already had.”

“Our recent experience with Budget at the airport was great! We arrived on a Thursday around 2pm. There was a line, but it moved at a pace that is expected when being assisted with a car rental. Turow was our agent. We were called over with an Aloha and a smile. He was very friendly, courteous and ensured we understood our pricing with additional options such as insurance, etc. Thank you Turow for your excellent service! We got the car we reserved and retrieving our vehicle was very easy and seamless. The jeep was thoroughly cleaned and exiting the parking lot with the QR code was a breeze. Returning the vehicle was also just as easy! Pulled up, left the keys in the car and went on our way. Thanks again for a great experience!”

“The entire rental car process was smooth sailing. The exact location of this main location at HNL airport is easy to find and the staff are very friendly. The car rental daily rates were affordable. All the costs on the invoice were explained clearly to me by the clerk when I was picking up the car. The rental car itself was clean, new, and well taken care of. My 2023 Nissan Altima was nearly spotless when I picked it up. The return process was smooth and quick. All-in-all this is my favorite rental car experience on-island.”

“On July 9, my adrenaline went skyrocketed because I was on a very time constraint to get from Aulani to Kualoa Ranch, which is on the east side of the island. Back in February, at the time of booking, I was confirmed by Aulani booking staff that there would be someone at Alamo at 7:30 am to assist with car rental; thus, I kept by reservation at Kualoa Ranch UTV Raptor tour. To my shocking, two days prior to my car rental, I happened to find out that was not the case-Alamo does not open until 8:00 am. Whether there was a miscommunication between the two agencies, I was under great stress that 8:00 am processing paperwork and checking rental car would indeed delay my drive to Kualoa Ranch, and I would lose the tour experience and refund. But to a kind customer-in need saver, Nico, one of the Alamo staff was so thoughtful and compassionate to go out of his way to help get all the paperwork completed prior to business hour, so that I can be on the road immediately. My family and I were truly grateful for his kindness, empathy and unselfishness of his non-work hour to help get us to our first time experience at Kualoa Ranch excursion. If it wasn't for Nico, we would have probably missed it because that weekend just so happened having a fair next to the ranch, and there were so many cars. Nico, I hope you have an opportunity to see this review. I want to thank you again for all that you have done. Our summer highlight was really the experience of riding on the UTV Raptor and touring around the breathtaking view of the ranch, valley, and ocean. THANK YOU!!!!”
