They're really treat their job undisciplined. We made the appointment for the notary. When we came, the notary staff whose name is Louella Cirilo- Villanueva is chatting with others not working. The teller helped us to inform her that there is someone waiting for the notary, she was still keep chatting. We are almost waiting for half an hour. Eventually, she came. And then, when she did notary, she is very unprofessional, she checked the PC on each item what she should do. I don't understand how the bank can hire those kind of staff and how can she get the title of Assistant Branch Manager. Again, I'm not sure how bad service can be tolerated by the system.

I needed to open a new checking and savings account. I did not make an appointment, but they were able to quickly find someone to help me. Nina was amazing! She was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Despite me having done my research already, she made sure I knew what was included to ensure it was what I wanted.I've been to this location a few times to deposit for others, and never had any issues with wait time and unfriendly tellers.

I know they've been getting bad reviews but I haven't had any problems with this Kapolei branch. The drive-up tellers are always quick and courteous, and inside the bank the ladies are always friendly. When going inside, I was always in and out in less than 10 minutes. I think it's just that customers/people now days are more inpatient and demanding, and when they don't get their way they are quick to leave a bad review. But when it's a good experience, people don't take a minute out of their busy day to leave a good review. Sooooo..... I am taking the time to do just that! :) *And btw no, I don't work for ASB nor am I related to anyone who works there.

The teller who serviced me today ( sitted 2nd from the right, wearing black top) need training in customer service.She slammed my ID card on the computer key board after i handed it to her. And when she counted my withdrawal, she just dropped it on the counter. She didn't say anything.Kapolei branch is the worst American savings bank in the whole oahu island.

Huge mistake on getting rid of Nānākuli Branch. Let alone the atm as well. Keep losing points from a 36 year plus customer.

Im spoiled in Wahiawa . Kapolei has no sense in urgency. They think counting a pile of money is more important than 5 people waiting in line. Kim and Gemma are carrying on counting money instead of helping customers. She gave me eye contact a few times and no, "ill be with you in a moment", until the 4th eye contact, yet customers should be priority. I get its end of day but we would like to get in and out. I will always forever appreciate the wahiawa office as they are phenomenal with customer service. I cringe every time i have to use the kapolei branch and that is why i bank at hawaii state for my personal bank. Its too bad kapolei doesn't get it.

Very rude teller! If she doesn't like her job then leave! She acts like it is an inconvenience to get change! You do work at a bank!!! I asked her to strap the change that I was getting by 100. And she straps it then tries it onto the counter at me. So NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND KAPOLEI BRANCH!!! Everyone NEEDS to go to the Ewa Beach Branch!!!! Oh did I mention her name is KRISTINE!

I give 5 stars because I live in town, but came out to Kapolei and had to make a stop here and we love that it has a drive thru ATM and teller. Thats pretty rare in town, so love that! I don't have to get out just drive in and drive out, simple and quick.
