This good gym, I used to work there as a club janitorial attendant. It was an ok job, I liked it, but I didnt wanna stay there too long due to the fact that was PT and I couldn't see myself there in a longevity sort of way. Staff was ok, nothing wrong but I kind of left on bad terms but hey its ok, life goes on. Managers Jason and Matt were alright, trainers Abigail and Donna were cool, and most of the memebers were alright. Gained a lot of respect from them for what I was doing; over-all this place wasn't bad. Hopeful it's doing OK now since I've left.

Basic cleaning needs to happen. I asked a week ago to have the bikes cleaned. Nothing has happened. The base near the floor on all the bikes and other machines haven't been cleaned. The dirt is disgusting! Easy fix. Give me a rag and a salary I'll do it myself.I totally agree with reviews of the lack of maintenance of the equipment.Seems like having 2-3 people at the desk is not necessary. Maybe you could ask them to clean the equipment and fill hand sanitizer machines. Very simple solutions

Corporate 24 Hour Fitness Leadership back at head quarters. This review is for you.As a business owner my self I understand that I can’t expect company goals to be met when I don’t provide adequate tools for my staff.I know 24’s goals - drive membership and keep members. This is a crowded gym with lots of members with Hawaii Rates. The staff is great!!’ 5 Stars for them.If standing around waiting for equipment where a form of fitness - 5 Stars for that.Again - Corporate 24 - support your Kapolei team by fixing or buying new equipment or hiring staff to service equipment.I believe in redemption. The time stamp of this review will indicate how long these machines are down for.Happy to take down my 1 Star when machines are up and running.Looking forward to reposting my 5 star redemption review :)Go Kapolei Team!

False advertisement about the 3 day free trial. They charge $25 for 3 days. And apparently I was not allowed to attend any classes either. The gym itself has a lot of equipment but it’s dated and it was super crowded on a Sunday night. I had to wait on certain machines. I went that one day and never came back. Staff didn’t even bother showing me around.

This location is really nice. It has a lot of great amenities like a pool and sauna! Theres tons of machines and free weights. Like all the other locations, it does get super crowded most times since it's the only location on that side of the island.

I didn't realize how great this gym is till I been to the other ones, lots of machines to choose from, and the ventilation is good, night staff have been nothing but welcoming and very supportive, making this my home gym from here on out! Day time is busy, so go in at night.

Great location but over a year and I’ve been able use free weights or heavy duty equipment 3x. Way too busy, feels busier than California or Florida gyms. Too many just talking, flexin for gram and mirror photos and no staff to ever step in or watch to ensure rotation of equipment is happening. They need another location opened up quick to help level out traffic flow.

Came to this gym as a guest while on vacation and it is F.I.L.T.H.Y. Don't waste your time coming, it's pretty gross. If you have no other choice, make sure you take some antibiotics ahead of time and sanitize your hands throughout your workout.

Welcome to the Kapolei branch of 24 Hour Fitness, where the crowd density rivals Times Square on New Year's Eve! If you enjoy playing human Tetris while trying to find an empty spot for squats, this place will make your dreams come true.Let's dive into the ambiance: Picture a gym that's busier than a beehive on a summer day. Trying to get on a machine here is like trying to catch a unicorn - it's mythical and requires some serious magic. Seriously, they should offer classes on ninja moves to gracefully slip through the throng of people. And cleanliness? Well, if you're searching for a challenge beyond your workout routine, spotting the floor under the equipment might just be it! They've mastered the art of hiding dust bunnies under weights - it's like an Easter egg hunt, but instead of chocolate, you find forgotten gym socks. But hey, who needs a pristine environment when you can embrace the 'dirty gains' philosophy? Sweeping aside dust while lifting weights is a multitasking skill I never knew I needed. Who knew a gym could be both a workout space and a lesson in survival? The camaraderie among members here is impressive, though. It's like a support group for navigating the chaos - bonding over the struggle of finding a clean bench or sharing knowing glances when someone accidentally sprays themselves with the water fountain. So, if you're ready to embrace the organized chaos, the labyrinth of lost equipment, and the quest for a clean spot to lay down your yoga mat, Kapolei's 24 Hour Fitness awaits! Remember, bring your patience, your social skills, and a good pair of sneakers. It's a jungle out there, but hey, where else can you train for a marathon while perfecting your dodgeball skills at the same time?

Because I am still deciding I currently attend as a "buddy." The space and amenities are great. However, the dressing room/shower/restroom stalls are filthy and have remained so for more than a week. I'd share a photo but use of camera is not allowed.

The gym is great. It has plenty of good equipment. The glaring issue is that any acceptable time to work out, there are 250+ people in the gym. It makes it literally impossible to get your workout in efficiently. The workaround I have found is going at 2:00 AM. Obviously, most people can’t do that. I work East Cost time so it works for me. I’d recommend a different gym if you plan to workout anywhere from 4AM to 12:00 AM.

Gym looks great & well maintained. However, I wouldn’t have a positive experience to share because the policy for their 3 day pass is exclusive for residents only. I’m from Hawaii & currently live in NC, visiting family here for a week. Corporate shows the lack of willingness to help or maintain a professional relationships with potential clientele. When I move back here this gym would not be the first option I have. Their day pass is $25, I was here for a week & would have rather spent that money on a gym that showed the sympathy of welcoming me home. The only initiative they took was a phone call to “assist” in activating the guest pass to lure you into their “training programs”. I recommend that their sales team show less sales initiative & more genuine intentions of building strong relationships with their clients. Do better.

4:30 in the morning and it was already packed. As other reviews have stated, the gym is very dirty. The amount of hair all over the floor is disgusting. Feels pretty small and cramped. Wish they had certain machines other 24 hour carry. But again.. the hair. Gross. The floors, especially the locker rooms need to be cleaned daily.
