“Just stopped by this market to buy some food. Seemed like a well stocked market for a small town. The girl at the checkout was a little salty but maybe she was having a bad day.”
“My husband and I tried the taro burger and the pizza baguette. Both were delicious. We tried their macadamia toffee nut ice cream that was made with coconut milk and it was very tasty. They also have a store where they sell cosmetics, candles and packaged food. Bought a pack of salted macadamia nuts for the road. The nuts were crispy and fresh.
Vegetarian options: They had a good variety of veggie options including taro burger, black bean burger, pizza baguette and Caprese sandwich. They had a good selection of vegan ice creams as well.”
“As the last store on a rural road this store does an excellent job of having a bit of everything: fresh vegetables, flowers and blossom-style lei, wine, fishing gear, Ben &Jerry''s ice cream, shampoo $ soap, fresh bread, ice and filtered water, canned goods, cold drinks. Etc etc. The building is an artifact of sugar plantation days: t's not fancy and the staff makes up for it with warmth, great variety, and great service.”
