As the last store on a rural road this store does an excellent job of having a bit of everything: fresh vegetables, flowers and blossom-style lei, wine, fishing gear, Ben &Jerry''s ice cream, shampoo $ soap, fresh bread, ice and filtered water, canned goods, cold drinks. Etc etc. The building is an artifact of sugar plantation days: t's not fancy and the staff makes up for it with warmth, great variety, and great service.

We love Arakaki store. Janice, Barry, Rose and Jean are all warm, friendly and welcoming since the day we moved here 7 years ago. It's a great one stop shop for everything you might need without having to drive to "town" in Waimea or Kona.

This is a great little store that we stopped at on our way driving to the view. We need to get some sunscreen and some water for our trip.The store has a good selection for being near the end of the road. I would say that the prices were very decent. The parking lot had plenty of room when we came to visit in January.They have a great selection of fishing gear too!The lady who was working was very friendly to us also. Mahalo

If you've taken the Road to Hana in Maui and stopped by Hasegawa store, this place has similar vibes. Familiar and friendly service on my way to the coastal hike. Great local stop if you're on your way to Pololu valley.
