About Wainiha General Store
An amazing small store with a friendly down home feel offers a great selection of fresh and prepared food, including cucumbers, other fruits/veggies, beets, carrots, mango, beef jerky and lots of stuff for hikers and campers. The attached eatery Swell sells large tasty sandwiches, smoothies and other sandwiches in a little annex at the back with plenty of parking. The knowledgeable local clerk gave free of charge and nice conversation, and prices are very reasonable for such a remote location. Worth stopping in to supporting the local community, just drive slow on the curve where many people walking.
Great hand made soaps. And the ice cream is pretty great too.

Amazing selection including fresh and prepared food. Lots of stuff for the hikers and campers. Attached eatery called Swell. Not sure if it is a part of country market but they had very large tasty sandwiches. Good be erages too. Real down home friendly feel.

Very limited grocery store. Wish I'd gotten a photo, but there's a little annex in the back that sells sandwiches and smoothies. Plenty of parking in the back.
