It was a challenging move.Many moving parts (pun intended). Valuable and fragile goods that had to be packed, moved to storage, crated, taken to the dock and shipped to the mainland and then trucked across country. It was costly and complicated. Kauai movers were on top of things every step of the way and very cooperative to work with as well as being cost conscious. They have hard working employees and the owner Duke works with you every step of the way.

Thanks Kauai Movers for your awesome and amazing services! I first hired them in 2020 to unload my container when I moved to Kauai and was thoroughly impressed with them. After purchasing a home this year and needing another move, I knew there was no other choice for me. When you call them, Duke immediately answers, all questions are answered and within minutes you are all set. On the day of the move, Kauai Movers show up on time with more than an ample crew who will go above and beyond to accomplish the move. Thank you Duke, Kaleo, Adam, James and Jake! You guys are awesome and will always be my choice!

We recently had to move to another house so we picked Kauai Movers. We made a appointment a few weeks ahead since we needed to be out of our rental by the end of the month. Communication was good. Although the guys were late about one and a half hours past the appointed time. They claim they were stuck in traffic, which is understandable. The guys worked quickly and efficiently and were pretty fast. The whole move took a few hours. I did notice that one of the tables has quite a few scratches on it, guessing it got scratched when they were carrying it through the doorway. And another table had a few minor scratches on it as well. Overall, they did a good job at loading all the stuff we had, they worked very hard. The cost was quite expensive, I think it was around three thousand dollars, considering the amount of stuff we had and just three miles away in distance. I didn't expect it to be so high in price.

Rip off and poor service. They all ways ask for more after job is done. They damage your stuff and don't tell you about. Avoid this company.

I just moved from Washington state to Kauai and was in need of a moving company to offload my 20 foot container into my home. I called several of the larger companies, one never returned my request for a quote and the other told me that the soonest they could fit me in was weeks away which would have me incurring fees for my container not being picked up in the prescribed time.I then called Kauai Movers. Duke immediately answered the phone, took down my information and request and within minutes I had my quote which was very reasonable for the job as because of where I live, my container would not be able to be delivered to my home due to very limited access on my street. So, the container had to be delivered to a secondary location where Kauai Movers would offload my belongings into a smaller truck that could access my street.Duke was informative, knowledgeable and beyond accommodating answering my questions and concerns. I accepted the quote and immediately was contacted by Candace who facilitated the final details of the job.On the day of the job, Kauai movers showed up with 5 absolutely incredible guys who went above and beyond transferring my goods from the container to their truck then arriving at my street realizing they would not be able to turn the truck around at my house, backed the truck 200 plus yards to get it there. They then quickly and with care offloaded the contents returned to the container for the second and final load and completed the work within 6 hours!Many thanks to the entire team at Kauai Movers! Duke, Candace, Malik, Zech, David, Kalev and Derek: you are all awesome and I appreciate everything you did for me!Don’t bother with any other company, Kauai Movers will not disappoint! They are my only choice for my moving needs!

We recently moved from Kauai to San Diego and chose Kauai Movers in Kapaa to help us with the move. We didn't move any furniture, but we had about 30 Boxes of stuff. We called Duke and he was amazing. We needed to get our stuff out fast and Duke was able to fit us into his already busy schedule to help us out. His team picked up our packed boxes from Princeville two days after our first contact and found us the best price to get our boxes shipped to San Diego. Our stuff arrived 3 days later in San Diego complete and undamaged. We are really impressed by the service and Duke's can-do attitude. Excellent company and highly recommended.

My wife and I just moved to Kauai and we were looking for help to offload a 40 foot container. We contacted several other companies but apparently they were too busy to help move a household of furniture. I contacted Duke at Kauai movers and he was more than helpful and was flexible with our changing schedule (we moved in during hurricane Lane). After the weather cleared, Duke and his crew arrived promptly and carefully moved all our furnishings into place. Great bunch of guys and I would not hesitate to use them again. My cargo guy failed to connect with the moving company that he had used previously and contacted Duke the day before the scheduled move and he pulled it all together! He lined up the truck, the special ramp, the guys to work all of this happening around a holiday weekend. I would use them again and recommend them.

Totally overpriced. They will quote you one price and then charge 60% more because of traffic. $1,600+ to move a box spring, mattress, mirror, nightstand, small hall table and boxes from north side of Kauai to dock. If the quote reflected reality, would have sold small amount of furniture and mailed the boxes. Beware!
