I feel totally ripped off and my time wasted.I walked into store asking for a brush cutter for job next day $700 budget.I told lady I do extreme jobs on hillsides what would they recommend.ended up with 4 stroke Honda that had issues parts that didn’t belong .on driving back from north shore I arrive to be called an idiot .return that Honda trimmer for another one .I didn’t get manual from trimmer was missing parts from harness was about $150 over priced from internet price .I use it at job totally underpowered gas in machine lasts about 15 minutes and debri gets stuck under blade and guard about every couple minutes making brush cutter basically useless and a day wasted at work .will have to drive back for 3 time .also floor model was not 2023 model got no discount .on phone they offered me a new blade for free .which is totally no help.I just wanted a good tool for commercial use that worked now I just feel ripped off .A friend recommended them saying if had issues that was worth spending extra for there service instead of Home Depot .but this has not been case .I trusted there recommendation but got an overpriced tool that doesn’t do job .also want to add on website says ten inch blade included.why was I charged $22 dollars for blade and another $50 for blade adapter?also sold display floor equipment with no manual no warranty papers missing strap connector .usually floor models you get 20% discount .also left hand handgrip slides off .I have have feeling when someone returns something they just put back on floor for sale

Consistently pretty unhelpful customer service. Would recommend Kauai small engine repair, Home Depot, or Kawamuras over this place. Really the only reason to get something here is if you don’t have time to get it somewhere else.**edit**Thank you for the reply Steve. I'll ask for you next time I am there and hopefully things go better.

We are lucky to have such a great business in our neighborhood. Terrific employees. What more can you ask for? I go in a couple times a year for the last 20 years and always left happy. when you need something small or big and you don't want to go to the big box store.

I bought an echo hedge trimmer and it quit working after an hour. I was cutting only guinnea grass (our notorious fast growing grass) and It died. Instead of replacing they insist on fixing the (brand new) item. Next week I have to use the hedge trimmer again and I had the same issue. I tried to get my money back but they insist yet again on fixing something that should've been working in the first place. I asked how can I just do it myself but Echo makes it to where you need special tools only given to authorized dealers. This shop doesn't have your best interest in mind. I will ALWAYS go to Home depot for quality assurance from now on and that's not a commercial. Seriously tried to support small and look what happened. Theses guys are a joke

A quality business in an old, vintage building. The old Urabe Store! Steve has brought to Kapaa a great service we need. In particular, Robin is a WIZARD at finding the petfect fitting part for your chain saw, weed wacker, lawn mower, and most everything! Im thankful for Kauai Marine & Mower in Old Kapaa Town.

Took my older Honda mower in for servicing. When I picked it up they started it and it sounded fine, but the first time I used it it died. I had waited a couple of weeks between picking it up and using it so I was concerned. I took it back. The next day they called and said it was done. They had replaced the carburetor, free of charge. You can trust this shop!

Marine and Mower are the go to shop for mowers, generators, landscaping tools. It feels good supporting these guys. They hooked me up with a loaner Mower when I needed one while mine was in the shop. They are on point.
