This was a great experience! Shop owner was very knowledgeable and taught us about the different types of instruments available. He’s got some high value instruments in stock if you’re interested in collecting. We left with the perfect instrument.

In Kauai a couple weeks ago and husband decided he wants a ukulele. He had heard of the reputation/history of this store and I will say they did not disappoint.The gentleman who helped us was super informative, and went through all the various options/let us test different instruments to find the perfect fit. They shipped it home for us and we were so happy to unpack it last night. My husband plays bass and is ready to start working on uke right away. I play (well, learning to play) drums, but it looks so fun and is so portable/lightweight I may start fiddling around with it myself!We are happy to have such a beautiful instrument that we know will last for years. Highly recommend this shop! They also had a beautiful selection of Tahitian pearl jewelry and some other Hawaii-themed gifts - even if you're not looking for musical instruments the shop is worth poking into to take a look around.

Just purchased/received an 8-string koawood uke from Kamoa Store and I love it! Beautiful in sound and appearance! I was able to go in, try some different ukes out, and ultimately ended up ordering one and having it shipped to me on the mainland. Samuel was tremendously helpful throughout the whole process! So happy with this purchase experience. :)

I stopped in for ukulele lessons and was invited to come back for a 2nd lesson. The owner/instructor was soft spoken, knowledgeable, and adjusted his teaching to how I learned best. I've been to Kauai 5 times and these lessons were the best, non-sightseeing activity to date (with no pressure to purchase). If I had not already purchased an instrument, they surely have earned my business.

I bought a Raymundo Rapozo ukulele here. It's the most beautiful sounding ukulele I own. Sam was so helpful. He offered suggestions for a pick up. I wish I I had purchased it, but I'm going back in January. Hopefully I can get it done then. Love this store and the owners.

This place is awesome. I purchased 2 ukuleles from them, one in store and one online and both are top quality. Sam is super helpful and their products are packed carefully and shipped fast. We will definitely be purchasing more Kamoa ukes in the future!

I had no idea what to expect when walking into the store, and was so happy that I stopped in. Sam was super nice and helpful in answering my newbie questions. He took the time to show me several different models and wood types while also providing a whole bunch of info about ukuleles. I left with an entry model and have been really enjoying playing and getting to learn the instrument. Thanks Sam!

Our nephew who plays the guitar wanted to check out the store and we are so glad we did. It's a family run business and the lady who helped us was so patient and helpful with our nephew. We were able to "demo" multiple types of ukuleles and hear and feel the difference between each one. When we got back to the mainland, I called the store and spoke with "Sam" and ordered two of the pineapple ukuleles (one for my nephew and one for me, even though I've never played). We absolutely love our ukuleles! Great quality and the sound is fantastic! Additionally, Sam has been very supportive of all my "beginner questions." Always responds to my email questions and even took the time to help me tune my ukulele over the phone since I live in CA. Great customer service and wonderful ukuleles. Take it from me, if you are interested in getting a ukulele, this is the store you want to purchase it from. They have quality ukuleles and great customer service. Highly recommend this store for all your ukulele needs. You can even shop here without visiting Kauai as they have great shipping options too!
