Came upon this place purely by chance but what a gem. The owners are so hospitable and so excited to share their place with customers. The food is delicious and the kids loved what they made.It's definitely a must stop place if you have the chance.

Good food & better vibes!Stopped by the Waikane Store on the way home and was greeted with Aloha from aunty. The chicken was juicy, cooked to perfection and the maki sushi paired perfectly. Definitely will he coming back! ?

A great treasure trove stop on your way around the island. I’ve lived in Hawaii most my life and I’m really happy they are still going. Food is tasty and better yet affordable. Easy to eat and great for long rides or beach days!!

Old style country market with local style sushi (futomaki), keeping the tradition alive. Waikane store is one of the last hold outs, a traditional family owned little market that serves freshly made sushi rolls and bbq chicken, an assortment of snacks, crack seed, and drinks. Full of Aloha and history, well worth the stop any time you're driving to or from country.
