First time I went I got my hair dyed and told her that I wanted to have my hair orange from the roots up. But she did my highlights instead when I mentioned nothing about highlights. My hair was severely damaged afterwards and I rapidly lost hair. I didn’t say anything at the time because I didn’t wanna sound rude and at the time I thought to myself this was a “professional “shop so I assumed she knew what she was doing. The part where I kind of questioned everything was when I observed her mix the hair bleach with hair dye. Before going to hair salons my Uncle would be the one to have dyed my hair and not even he did that. That was the part where I had a hard time coming to my senses. What made the ordeal worst was when shed roughly tug on my hair while applying the chemicals and continued to do so even when rinsing my hair. It was so bad to the point where I could feel that I had lost hair. After rinsing me off she applied more chemicals and did the same cycle 3 more times. She told me to come back the next day because it had already been 6 1/2 hours that I’d been in the chair and they were about to close. After that my hair wasn’t even orange or brown it was more of a Whitish brown like a platinum silver. Over the period of the next few weeks I realised that I was losing hair mass. It was to the point where I could rub a brush with soft bristles through my hair and 5 to 10 strands would appear on the brush. Then it only started to get worse over the month and by this time it was very wavy brittle and dry. I did do research online and it told me to do deep conditioning and hair masks however I was afraid of doing that because of the rapid hair lost that had taken place already. So the only option that came about I read on the internet was to get a haircut because when hair has split ends once those split ends reach the root the hair follicle becomes permanently damaged to the point where hair will never grow back to its normal growth. When I came back from my trip I went into the salon to talk to the manager she was very polite and very understanding and listen to what I had to say and suggested a few things. That was when I told her that I would make an appointment with her which I did. I came back to get a haircut ONLY to get all of those split ends cut off however she gave me a shampoo which I never even asked for, when all i wanted was a simple hair cut similar to those you could get in one of those barbershops. First lady seemed like she wasn’t even listening to what I was saying and she wanted to do it her way. Second lady at first to listened but she didn’t cut the hair the way that I wanted. The second time i went it almost seemed like she did more shampooing into the hair than cutting it; And rather the style of the hair then repairing the damage. I sort of stormed out of there in a haste and I was kind of ranting hysterically in the moment because I was pissed. I did hear though amongst the workers it may have been the way she had styled my hair that made me look a certain way that I may not have liked: I looked like a woman, There’s just no other way to put it. So I went home and I conditioned my hair and to my surprise it worked and my hair seemed to have more mass and volume. The conditioner I used was the conditioner that I bought when the first lady did my hair and told me to use that. I would then continue to use that for the next couple days, but I realised that my hair was receding once again. So I finally took it upon myself to swallow my pride and just go into Supercuts and get a full on hair cut. Still my hair seems damaged even after being cut relatively short. Especially being how short she had cut it And now the hair still seems frizzy makes me question if my hair will ever repair. Im never going back to this place. Whatever happened to MasterCuts? This took me 12 times to finally write fully focused because i was so upset. Bottom line is if you are a male or somebody who they think doesn’t have any experience with fashion or hair styling: DO NOT COME HERE! Not worth it!

We love that she either listens to what we want or we give her free range to surprise us and she ALWAYS nails it! She’s a great listener knows her “stuff” and I feel when you can zero in on what the customer is asking for and is literally confident in taking the scissors to create their vision, you got me at “ok, what are we doing for you today?” Just got our hair done and as always she never disappoints! I got my summer wedge on and just wanted to thank Lita and her team of professionals! Aloha!

I called a week before cuz had to spend all day at the mall while having the 4runner serviced. Spoke with Kale and took his first appt at 11am. I had waist long, super fine hair that is 90% grey at the front. Showed up early and he took me right in. Showed him a bunch of layered cuts and he explained that my very fine hair would need to be blowed dry into submission and that he recommended a longer layer. His fingers were like feathers as he blew my hair out. I love the new cut and can highly recommend Kale as an experienced stylist with 30 years experience. I lucked out

Great service! I have long, thick hair and needed a style that would take off some weight, have a shape (it just hangs straight) and yet still be able to be pulled back for work. My stylist managed long, lovely layers that fall perfectly when my hair is down but also still manages to tied up without any strays. It’s perfect!

Its been a little over a week since I went in for a cut and color. I am finally writing a review because I am so disappointed in the results of the color. I did not get anything near what I asked for, and although i I am not a color expert, this is the WORST hair color I have ever gotten. See pictures. It also cost around $300.00, not worth it! I would've rather left for my extended work trip with my almost year grown out brassy highlights . I didn't say anything at the time because the stylist kept saying how pretty it was, it is not.

Brought my child and myself in for a trim and both of us have the opposite of what we asked for (minimal take off). I did ask for longer layers and my hair looks like a staircase. It will take a long time to grow out and fix how awful it looks. Go elsewhere if you can.

I've been going to Kaui for years so I can only recommend her if you go to Regis. But she is the best. Super friendly and listening to what you want. Highly recommended.

I went to get a root touchup and the stylist said she charged $85.00. Be Aware not knowing she added $15 more for the hair conditioner. I usually sit for awhile after the wash if I requested getting the conditioner and this time I didn't!!! I also had a haircut not a trim (requests) and she charged me $70 when I was told $60. Total $170. plus tip. I been doing to Regis for years and their prices gotten expensive It's concerning that this stylist was adding more to my bill. I didn't see the receipt until I got home. I text this stylist and she said she forgot and that next time she would take care of it. Won't Be No Next time!!!

i walked in to ask a few clarifying questions and they were not helpful whatsoever. in fact, the man at the front trying to help me was quite rude to me, i assume he is one of the stylists. in the end, i did not get an appointment and instead went across the street to supercuts where i was met with excellent service for a lower price there instead. rude and inconsiderate.

Super nice stylist, but brutalized my scalp during a hair wash and simple trim. Very raw, sore scalp now with tender areas and broken skin.Twisted my hair up on one side so hard, it hurt. During the wash, rubbed so hard using fingernails very roughly. Combing out the hair, when there was a knot, just kept pulling hard on the knot (and scalp). When I said something, was ignored. I will never again visit this place. Consumer beware.Service: Haircut

I do not leave bad reviews when I go somewhere. I usually just go on with my day and never go back to the place where I had the bad service. Well, this one I just had to post with pictures to prove it. Went in for a simple cut, long bob with layers. First cut was terrible, went back to a different person a week later, cut was even WORSE! When I called a few days later, the manager told me that they were going to give me a refund because there was nothing they could do to "make me happy." WTF!?! Are you freaking kidding me? You have 2 (or more) incompetent stylists and she's blaming me? She went on to say that Regis would give me a refund on Monday and hung up the phone. Two minutes later I called back and asked her for her cell phone so I could send her pictures. After she viewed the pictures, she did apologize and said to come back after it grows back. Ummmmm, HELL NO! NEVER AGAIN!!! Before I went in, my hair was pretty long, half way down my back. I asked the stylist keep the length, just layer the back. The first picture is what I asked for, the second picture is what I got.... At least the manager apologized...
