They are located on the 16th floor of the Ala Moana Pacific Center Building on the corner of Kapiolani Blvd & Kaheka Street. You may know this building because Shokudo Japanese is right on the ground floor. I was first introduced to Janell herself via my other half as he's been going to them even longer than me. I first started going here almost 10 years ago, also met Lena who is their front desk receptionist, she cracks me up a ton! These past two years, Nicky has taken on me and my husband's tax preparation. They're on the conservative side, so they don't go crazy on trying to write off every single expense you have in your line of work. What makes our visits to the office so rewarding, is you get to catch up on gossip sessions with Lena and enjoy all her chocolates and Biscoff cookies:-)”
“It was great having the Deloitte tax team visit my job to discuss the major tax changes for the 2018 filing. Since there was quite a bit, my boss felt we could benefit from having the tax team share this information. They provided a comparison from the previous year to reflect the new changes, and they explained in detail what it meant. They were not there to sell any services, but to educate us on the changes. The Deloitte tax team had a representative explain the Federal taxes changes, another regarding State taxes , and an accountant that has been with the company for 30 years to oversee this session. They were all knowledgeable and great at explaining even to those that don't do their own taxes, there was lots of questions and they were patient at answering.”

“Financial transactions in Honolulu, Hawaii...My cousin needed a new debit card from American Savings Bank (ASB). I knew about this location because I kept looking at it from across the street last year when our Jaycee group participated in the Dragon Boat Races at Aala Park. Besides being one of the sponsors, ASB also had a very spirited team! I told my cousin that we should go to this Aala Park "Campus" location because it had free covered parking and is a new building! Yes... the interior is very pleasant and clean. There was an employee in the parking structure - acting like a guard and/or guide. Inside, another employee asked if we needed help - I think he was screening us for possible loitering because we were chatting on one of the sofas.Well - it was a successful visit. My cousin was able to finish his transactions successfully. If he needs to return, I would choose this Campus Branch again.”
“Best customer service I've every had through out the years, whether in person on over the phone, they are always helpful and friendly. It's not a bank in Hawaii so you can only do brokerage stuff (can do banking part online though). As long as you aren't dealing in cash it perfect. Also NO ATM Fees (I think up to $10 per month) so I never worry if I need cash.”

They open at 9 AM and the lines start at 8:30 AM. Lines for bank tellers, business ops, and even the drive-thru ATMs.
Always efficient and quick though. Lots of long time staff who know what to do.
Parking is tight but never impossible. Might have to walk an extra minute or two.
Otherwise this location services its purpose in the busy Pearl City, Aiea area.”

“Best bank in Hawaii, IMHO. Their fraudulent transaction department saved my bacon again this morning as they always do without fail and have protected me for years, except for an 11- year hiatus while in Seattle, going way back to the 1990's. I'm 74 and I've seen my share of banks and I LOVE American Savings Bank. The managers, assistant managers and customer service people are always efficient, courteous, friendly, helpful and they truly LIVE ALOHA!”

“I needed to do some banking and went to this branch. The environment is clean and the experience is friendly as I was greeted by a worker upon entering. My transaction was completed correctly and quickly, the teller and manager were pleasant to work with. I was impressed with this branch/company as ASB is not my main banking institution.”
“This is the place my family does it's banking. I can't complain. I usually come early before the lunch hour to avoid the lines that form during lunch and in the afternoon. Staff is usually friendly. Usually we say hi to Eliza when coming here to deposit and what not. Haven't had too much trouble coming here. I wish tellers were more consistent. There are always new faces. There has to be a way to convince people to stick to a job. Not only that, new tellers are nervous so tend to talk story more. I see why the previous reviews talk about the lines being long. Perhaps the proper training on how to move the line will help. The guy in front of me was rolling his eyes as the teller was talking story with a couple. If there is a long line, conversations with customers should be brief. Have consideration for those people waiting for service. Another thing about this place is the parking lot. It needs to be repaved and restripesd. I can barely see the lines in order to park the car.”
