Our family loves to come here! They have icee floats! Need I say more? It is well stocked and reasonably priced and I love the pork hash and Mochi here! I remember going to a crack seed store in my neighborhood when I was little. I'm so glad my kids have a crack seed store that is part of their childhood!

My wife and I dropped into this little store on a quest. Trying to find dried ginger that doesn't have that after taste from the artificial sweeteners. Some places show sugar as the sweetener, but still have that after taste. The ginger and li hung mui are the two crack seed products we are very peticular about. There seems to be product inconstancy from the mom and pop to the major distributors. The ginger did have that after taste. Li hung mui was good. The lady at the store makes mochi with black bean filling. The filling was good. The mochi was chewy. Stay safe

Convenience store in Kaneohe... on the Ground Level of the building across from Jack in the Box on Kamehameha Highway...Crack seed - AKA - see mui - AKA - preserved plum is a category which includes Rock Salt Plum, Li Hing Mui, Lemon Peel, and Olive Cake. It's an unusual snack that Hawaii residents enjoy on occassion. My sister used like the salty seed - those white ones that make your mouth water. I like the mild ones like the football-shaped, sweet sour type - and seedless cherry.I visited this store in the past because I needed some ginger for my sore throat. There were a few choices, so I was able to pick one that I thought I could tolerate. (Most ginger is too spicy for me.) I also got some ginger chews. These are great for traveling! There are other places in Kaneohe that sell crackseed, jerky, candy, coffee, refrigerated beverages, condiments, and other convenience items. However, this local store may be better because of its uniqueness! There's such a variety of goods such as bathroom tissue, crackers, Lemon peel powder, fish sauce, long rice, bay leaves, Chinese medicine, and snacks such as pork hash, mochi, jin dui, rice cake, and manapua! They also have an Icee machine and Almond cookies... oh, and crackseed!Crackseed Hawaii has it's own shared parking lot. Just drive slowly past the shop on William Henry Road (across from Bank of Hawaii) and turn right - up the ramp. The female worker had some language barrier. I had to point to the boiled peanuts sign and she said that they had sold out for the day. Awww... I'll have to return - especially since the store seems more spacious! Items have been rearranged for a semi-organized feel!Support local!

I recently stopped by to grab a few snacks for our drive around the island. I used to stop by here all the time after school to grab some snacks while walking home. It's a very tiny store but has a variety of snacks.

Charming locally-owned convenience store with a wide variety of Li Hing Mui, including slushies. Bring cash and be ready to encounter irregular hours.

Stay away! The owner of this store is crazy for cocoa puffs. Crack seed alright- she is cracked in the head. We were waiting to get in to the restaurant next door when my clean cut, well mannered 19 year old son went into the stored to browse. The owner started yelling at him saying he couldn't shop without his parents because kids shoplift. First of all, he is 19 and not a kid. Second of all what a terrible way to treat a prospective customer. I went back in with him and she started yelling again until she saw me. I stated that my son was 19 and didn't need his mom to shop. She started yelling a string of abuses at me and sAid if I didn't like it I could use the door and that she didn't want my sale anyways. Nice. Needless to say we didn't buy anything and will NEVER be back. Don't go here unless you feel like being abused. She is crazy. Nothing charming about her or her shop. If I could protest outside her door I would!
