24-7 is such a fun time for me! Taking classes here is something I'd like doing if I lived on the Windward side. There are a lot of skilled and motivated pupils in the studio. In Oahu, this is the greatest place to get started in professional dance training for yourself or your kid. Teachers at this school are excellent, and they seem to be cultivating youthful potential. Kayla is the best in my opinion!

Great place! My daughter has a lot of fun and the classes help her build focus and confidence. The director and teachers are all so inviting. We love it here and my daughter looks forward to going to class each week.

I only just found out about this studio yesterday when I was taking my daughter to the store next door to get her COVID vaccine. While we were waiting socially distanced against the railing, which is about 10 feet away, security came and told the clinic that the studio complained we were scaring their business away and they couldn't have people line up in front of their store. Guy came out complaining and we all had to move. POS dance studio if you ask me.

I've been going to this studio since I was four and I've had amazing memories here. I remember being so excited to go every Saturday to class and dance my heart out. As I got older, this "memorable experience" didn't last very long. The adult classes are so competitive and the choreographers love picking favorites. Long story short, if you're not up to their "level" of dancing skills, the dancers talk behind your back, will be super fake to you and will not be friends with you. I remember that it was the most toxic environment I've ever been in. Also the director, Marcelo, was only kind to me when I was paying lots of money towards the studio. I don't recommend anyone going here if you want to take classes for fun.

My two daughter, (ages 13 & 15) took their beginning Jazz class for a semester (fall 2017) and we will not being going back!
So the goods first: really nice teachers who know what they're doing and decently priced classes.
And the bads: they are extremely disorganized; no schedule for extra practices you just find out the day before or the week before that the times have changed so there's no way to know before the classes start, what the time commitment will be. They also require very long and late practices before their recitals, (every weeknight until 10pm on school nights!)
My biggest complaint is that their whole ticket set up is terrible. There is no communication that goes home with the kids telling parents how to buy tickets. What they do is post a little website link up by the front desk and expect everyone to know how to buy tickets. And then they don't let you know so by the time you find out, all the tickets are sold out because the people who have danced with them before know the routine, but anyone new is left out, literally because you don't get tickets so you don't get to see your kids dance. When I spoke with the Director of the studio about it, he actually laughed in my face and told me I should have bought tickets sooner. When I told him I hadn't been told where/when/how to buy them he accused me of lying. Needless to say that wasn't a pleasant custumer service encounter. And after that unpleasant conversation he went into the dance class and yelled at my kids and all the other kids who didn't have tickets yet. There aren't even word to describe how inappropriate his behavior was.
In the end he took my name and number and told me he would call me if there were any cancellations, but the show's tomorrow. I haven't received a call and he isn't returning any of mine.
Over all, what I want is to see my kids dance and have the pay-off for the classes I've been paying for all semester. Whether we get to see them perform or not, we will NOT be going back.
