This is the worst pharmacy you could ever visit.
Came in for an early refill for travel which was doctor authorized and with a doctor-signed paper copy of the prescription, and the pharmacist refused to fill it because she "didn't feel comfortable".
Also she lied to my face and told me I picked up the prescription a week ago from Longs which is an outright lie. I was only picking it up 6 days early due to traveling the next day.
Took the prescription to another pharmacy who filled it with no issues.
Avoid this rude, disrespectful, unhelpful pharmacy!

Came in for a photo order. Was told the
photo person arrives at 8 and it would be ready at 810/815. Came in. And the photo person was not informed by the person who spoke with me that the order was waiting. And so when I got there it was not ready and then a sparky remark was made that it was ordered this morning or something when I ordered it last night.
I was late for work due to having to wait longer.
Terrible. The actual photo tech was nice but the other woman who helped me was not helpful at all and honestly rude about it.

Kaneohe Walgreens Pharmacy has a rude female who answered the phone. She sounds uptight, stressed, and irritated.

I don't understand all the low ratings. I've never had an issue at this Walgreens. My prescriptions are always on time, they always answer my questions and address my concerns, the people are friendly and very helpful; and, I can also pick up any last minute necessities here. Keep up the good work! Many mahalos.

Cashier Eric at the Kailua Store was very friendly and helpful. Great Customer Service! He made my shopping a breeze being that I had to do a few transactions in order to use my coupons.

I went in looking for pink-eye drops. A female associate came up and asked me if I needed help. After I told her what I was looking for she proceeded to tell me I wouldn't be able to find pink-eye drops because the "USDA recalled them". First of all, the United States Department of Agriculture doesn't regulate eye drops. That's the FDA, and they only recalled artificial tears of a very specific brand. Not to mention, I found pink eye drops at the target down the road afterward. Please let your employees know they shouldn't say crazy stuff to customers!

As I was leaving the store with my reusable shopping tote bag, the cashier started shouting at me that I have to pay for what I am taking, that I am stealing. I was not stealing anything. I have made many purchases from Walgreens throughout Hawaii and online over the years & I (nor does anyone) deserve this type of treatment. I don't think this particular cashier works here anymore, but I would beware shopping here or else you could get falsely accused of a crime.

Everyone at the pharmacy is constantly in a bad mood and really negative to work with. They have screwed up Rx multiple times.

I decided to change my review. Most of the employees at this Walgreens are so nice. They never treat me differently. They’re kind people however, the lack of empathy and compassion among medical professionals on this island is appalling. Not only do I have no control over the fact that I’m having a hard time getting my drivers license back there’s always something new but I have a picture of the front and the back of my current drivers license that is clearly meet the back of it and it can be scanned, I asked strangers, and I had to sit there and humiliate myself. When I finally found someone to help me, her drivers license was expired, and I pled with the pharmacist. It was clear he could not care less if I lived or died. That’s what staying sober is… life and death. He was just cold about it. Unfortunately I need help staying strong until I can do it on my own. I did find someone at the last minute but I am at war with people who think it’s OK to treat other human beings with such contempt prior to investigation I declare war.

Came to the drive way window to pick up my prescription that was ready for pick up yesterday. The manager /pharmacist Christine came up to us aggressively and spoke down to my husband, I don’t know what her issue was and why she thinks she had a right to speak to anyone or in town the way she did , I’m pretty the sure the cameras captured her body language and voice tone.

Overall Walgreens is way better than the Longs by Whole Foods for prescription refills. I'm not sure about their other services. Plus, for prescriptions, they have a drive-through. So at least if you are going to wait, you can wait in your car. Or go over to Zippies.I had such a horrible experience at the Longs by Whole Foods that I transferred all of my prescriptions to Walgreens. I'm not sure what the other Longs in Target is like. But of the two pharmacies in Kailua that I've tried, Walgreens is definitely better than the alternative.
