Times Kailua has one of the best plate lunches around. The portions are filling & the prices are unbeaten. Times also has a great selection of Asian foods. The employees there are always really nice and helpful. I love shopping there and will continue going there, especially for the food cause I'm a foodie who loves to eat.

Came her last night 8/31 and the 2 younger girls were a bit rude. No greeting, no nothing, just started ringing me up. The girl that was bagging groceries asked the guy before me for his bag and started bagging his groceries. As soon as I was being rung up she left to stand around and do nothing. I had way more groceries than the previous person and I'm fine with bagging my own groceries but I don't know if she left on purpose. I think I will stick with my normal grocery store Foodland...they are always nice, courteous, and very helpful, from the greeters at the door, security, floor workers, and cashiers. I just come to Times because it's more convenient with the parking sometimes.

They have the best plate lunches in Kailua. They have a variety every day with a couple of choices for protein, starch and vegetables . All lunches come with a large drink. They are all under $10. They are also not stingy with their portions . All meats are weighed, but their side are big scoops. I like the steak, it's lean, but you will get a few pieces of fat. It's also tasty and not dry, it's is a little salty, but that is the way I like it. During the week, a lot of the workers in the area come here for lunch. At supper time you see people taking some home for their family, instead of cooking. Right now they have the best price for Ahi. $14 a pound. I cooked it last night and it was delicious. There rotisserie chicken is also very good and only $10 for a large one.

Went to times today for lunch. Was interested in a poke bowl for the beach today. Got a poke bowl with the tornado poke and it was actually very delicious! The service however was not adequate or nice. The man who helped with the poke bowls was rude to me and my friends; when I asked for extra furikake on my bowl (pretty standard and have never had any issues with any times) and he dead panned said no to me with no explanation or anything. My friends both got the same fresh ahi poke bowls and one came to $6.79 and the other came to $15.99! When asked why the changed he said he made a mistake and couldn't do nothing about it. Overall, food is great, service is subpar.

After a long day of being a tourist, and exploring the islands, the fiancée had a really smart idea to visit a local grocery store to stock up on fresh fruits to eat, and gifts to bring back home. Instead of purchasing them all at the various over-priced tourist spots and fruit stands we visited or passed along the way. We had just left Lanikai Beach, and happened to drive by Times Supermarket. Located within an outdoor shopping plaza, free parking is readily available. The store itself is clean, well stocked, and has a wide selection of assorted goods you would typically expect to find at most big box grocery stores, as well as a very nice selection of various Asian-specific snacks and food items. We were actually able to find almost all of the gifts that we saw at the different tourist locations, but at a substantially discounted price comparatively. All of the fruits that we bought there were very fresh, and extremely delicious. Highly recommend picking up some Hawaiian papayas while you're here, as they were definitely our favorite out of the handful of different fruits that we grabbed! And if you happen to see them being offered, as we did near the bakery section, make sure to grab some fresh mochi to go. They are fresh, soft, and about as delicious as mochi gets! Definitely not what I would expect when picking up supermarket mochi.

Awesome market that's conveniently located on the way to the beach in Kailua or Lanikai. They are usually pretty stocked up on everything, and have a wide variety of local brands. We really appreciate that you can build a plate lunch, or pick up some poke here. Quite a few options for the plate lunch section; and a lot of options for the poke section. I will make a note that not all of the poke is fresh, some have been frozen prior to being prepared. Still decent quality of fish and generous portions. Friendly staff here that's helpful, and the store is really clean!

The worst super market i've ever been to. It's dirty and we were patronized and disrespected by a horrible old woman working at the pre-made food section. We greeted her and she glared at us not replying or greeting us back which was already a disappointing start. As a visitor who is not familiar with all the food items on the menu we politely asked this Gina Kekahuna the food worker, what they were. In return she impatiently yelled "do you see that sign?? It says we're NOT SERVING that today." We obviously understood that as we can read simple english. We just wanted to know what it was. Instead of being kind or knowledgeable she kept repeating the same answer in a rude and aggravated tone as she unnecessarily threw around the lids of the food. The manager needs to check this woman. Gina you were a displeasure to meet. I will never be returning and will alert everyone to avoid this horrible market if they ever visit.

Thank you for the response Tad F. But it's pretty tone-deaf in my opinion. Obviously the cashier wouldn't remember , he barely put an effort to make contact with us as customers when the incident took place and it was about a month ago when it happened. I didn't expect that cashier to remember- by the way I didn't explicitly name the male cashier and there was multiple male employees that day. My biggest concern is the lack of sincerity your employees hold to actually be helpful in my recent visits to different locations. And in that email I sent your customer service department I also asked why your management refuses to try to shorten the shelves to make space for the tiny aisles that currently exist in the Kailua and Waimānalo locations. I also wanted some type of feedback addressing my recent visit to the Shimas location where your employees had 1) talked so long to each other during checkout because of a potluck being held in the back and 2) an employee blocking more than half of the corner section of the produce section during evening time -which is once of the busiest times of the day! And by the way, he was just sticking tags on and organizing the produce from his cart - which can be done before the store opens or during opening hours, when not many people are visiting the store. There's even a corner of that produce section that is just stuffed with old boxes that the employees could use as a place to do that. Anyhow, I'll just try not to spend as much when I go to any Times locations now.

I actually love coming to times as I find things I can't find anywhere else. Today I went in to kailia store to check what time the hot lunches would be ready to serve. Cook says 9:30am. I came back after 9:40 am and was told they don't open until 10. I would not have waited nearly an hour had I known.

Times Supermarket is one of my favorite stores because of the different choices they have compared to other grocery stores. Today I wanted to specifically thank the storefront manager, Shalan. Shalan was so helpful when I couldn't find the correct product. After telling me where to find it they followed and helped. Really great customer support!

***Pre/During COVID-19 Visit*** Times is a cool place to visit and I wish I had gone earlier because they have cool local stuff that other stores don't have. I was driving all the way to Waipahu just to get pancit noodles in Seafood City while Times already had them. I also purchased a souvenir towel here which I absolutely love! Mahalo!
