The Kailua Safeway Pharmacy is excellent. I especially like the private room for vaccines and other types of care. Unlike many major Pharmacy chains, they offer the Senior annual flu vaccine dose and a real on-site person answers the phone. Finally it's convenient to grocery shop (and use vaccine coupons).

Hamakua Safeway Pharmacy is very helpful. They do have walk-in appointments for most vaccines. Remember, they do close for lunch.

Located in Kailua, right next to target, there are plenty of parking and other stores nearby. The building looks a little old and the layout is similar to the other Safeways. It isn't too busy on the weekends, with no lines at the cashiers or self check out.
