As a parent of a Little Dragons student I can say this is the best dojo we have ever been a part of. Sensei Stacy is firm, fair and and excellent teacher. I would highly recommend them for you little ones and big ones alike.

My girls have been going to karate with Sensei Stacy for almost 2 years. They love the classes, feel more confident, and I appreciate the body positive message of strength and self-assuredness that is taught in class. We are grateful for the kindness and determination Sensei teaches and lives by. Thank you for an awesome addition to our routine and efforts to raise strong humans with integrity!

My 7 year old daughter LOVES her Karate classes at Knight's Karate! At first she was very shy and didn't talk, but with Sensei Stacie's help and guidance, she is now vocal and confident. There is a big emphasis on being kind and respectful people and the kids have a lot of fun. Highly recommend Knight's Karate for your keiki!

We absolutely love Knight's Karate! We moved to Kailua from Virginia where my son had practiced a different style of karate. Sensei Stacie made him feel so welcome (even honored him with a green stripe to acknowledge his previous experience) and he fit right in. We immediately felt like family! I am impressed with their COVID safety protocols. Sensei Stacie is a wonderful instructor who helps her students build a positive self image and improve on their self defense techniques. Highly recommend!

My son and daughter have been committed to Knights Karate dojo for a few years, twice a week sometimes three times. They are excited to go to every single class! Both of them love what the are learning, the instructors and the peers on this journey with them. It’s been a wonderful experience for our family so far. Great job Knight’s!

The Knights are passionate and compassionate practioners of Isshin-Ryu karate and kobudo. Methodical and consistent in their teaching techniques, the Knight's dojo can meet the needs of any skill level student. They've developed young black belts who are both technically proficient in the style and knowledgeable about its history. Sensei Stacie is patient but firm with younger students, like my daughter, building their confidence, character, and discipline. This is a quality dojo run by a local family who really cares about their dojo ohana. If you're looking to try karate for yourself or your family, the Knight's dojo is the best place to start.

This dojo has done so much for my 7 yr old son, who has been coming here for over a year. In the beginning I had to 'encourage' him to attend because he lacked confidence. A year later, he begged me to participate in the dojo's first annual tournament, and he did great! He has learned that trying hard, commitment, and discipline really make a difference in his karate, and in his life. Sensei Stacy teaches him so much more than just kicks, blocks, and punches and self defense - she teaches life skills.

My son has been with Knights Isshin Ryu for almost three years. He started as an energetic 3yr old and has promoted from little dragons to intermediate. His maturation, discipline, self-control, and skills have improved exponentially from his time with the Knights. A few weeks ago he mustered the courage to participate in their first Kata tournament. Although he was extremely anxious, the preparation provided by the Knight family enabled him to perservere and perform. He is now so proud of his accomplishment he is eagerly awaiting the next event. We can’t be more happy with the instruction provided by Sensei David and Stacie as they have been a huge part of our little man’s growth. We highly recommend them for anyone looking to instill basic life skills, maturation, and Isshin Ryu instruction into their child’s life.

Amazing experience for my grandson who was bullied in the 3rd grade. We started him when he just turned 8 years old so he could protect himself from bullies. He has been with this dojo for over 3 years attending 2-3 days a week and their summer camps and karate tournaments. He is now a 1 st degree Black Belt at 11 years old. This dojo will not give you belts it has to be earned! It is not easy but the take away will be Respect, self defense, self confidence, self esteem, self Discipline. It is not for everyone but if you are passionate and Committed I would sign up today.

I enrolled my son into this dojo two years ago and have been very happy with his progress. Every time I come in to watch a class, I am impressed with the students and their understanding of the instruction. The Knights don’t limit the students to basic strikes, kicks, and blocks, but also teach progressive Kata’s, warrior mindset, and history of the Isshin-Ryu style. I

Both of our children began with Sensei Stacie at age 4. Three years later we are still committed. First and foremost we wanted them to be able to defend themselves if and when they need to. In addition, they have learned values, life lessons and dojo lineage, and are truly welcome in a family atmosphere where we have made many dear friends.
