Go to Walmart or Target because they treat you so much better as No good deed goes unpunished at this store. My aunt told some guy she didn’t know at all that she would give him three cents to complete his purchase she said that on Camera several times however Daniel, the customer service representative charged her $2.03 and apparently gave the man back his money she said specifically twice and I’m sure Longs can review that on camera that she said she would give him three cents “I’ll pay three cents” and the manager got involved and rather than saying some thing and telling him to not be smug, Nicole supported he rudeness my aunt said things like I was trying to help the homeless guy and he said snippily don’t insult him and other things like that and it was just a completely unnecessary conversation. He could’ve clarified, but he did not, and chose instead to repeat many rude things over and over and over to her when she was simply trying to do a good day both Nicole and Daniel should be fired.

Go to TARGET actoss the street! Nice CS and they got it all...i dont know why i did not!. Besides Target, anything in Kailua has been ruined by entitled, cheap & rude Caucasian business owners, employees, homeowners, military personnel and tourists etc.!! Daniel the cashier at Longs was completely condescending when I asked why all the 5 selfcheckouts were locked too early again because the manager didn't wanna be inconvenienced!! There's usually one open accepting cards only and I have autism and I don't like rude cashiers like Daniel to process my purchase! I asked why, he rudly pushed back and I'm pushing back with this review. LONGS, yall are messing up with Custumer Service in Hawaii. KAILUA Longs/ CVS worst exp I've ever had in any state! Why bother with self checkout when u close it early and force all the customers to line up for one slow cashier with an attitude!! This is why I prefer machines! Make ur system make sense to me! At least the custumer service with less Caucasian population at other longs is much better but damn its almost 2024...get it together guys!! For now I'm just done DONE FR and boycotting yall because why should I spend my money at a place where prejudism, racism, entitlement, LP harrassment, lack of CS, early am leaf blowing (Noise pollution) and extra toxic entitled attitudes are rampant! (Be kind to urself people, avoid businesses like this and support small business or just go to target across the street.)

So tired of the back up at the pharmacy. They change (shorten) the hours. Open later, close earlier. Then they don't post they close for lunch. I get it - but at least you can let the public know when! Got here at 8:10 Saturday morning, they open at 9. Returned at 9:05 and there were already 7 people in line. Left cause i work in town at 10. Got here at 1:34 on Sunday and they were closed. Picking up meds for my mom - so over this - going to transfer all her meds all to Sam's!

This review is only for my experience at the pharmacy. Came to fill my RX after coming from the Dentist in need of some antibiotics and pain relief. I left my house an hour earlier as I was expecting a long turnaround time to get my RX filled as this was my typical pharmacy experience at Kahala CVS. I live in Kaimuki but work in Kailua and this pharmacy is conveniently located next to my place of employment. This team was amazing! I believe their manager is who helped me and made my experience so fun and pleasant! Even his team had smiles on their faces. You've got a great leader back there in your pharmacy and I hope you recognize that CVS.

First off, this store ALWAYS has a line.Second "Cindy" the cashier ALWAYS has an attitudeThird they allow any kind dogs/pets in the store...IN THE CART!!!!!!As a local girl who comes home ALL the time, I am appalled at the attitude that Cindy not only gave me, but other people who used her as her cashier. Where's your aloha spirit? If you hate your job, stay home! I've been in the store for the past 2 days and EVERY time she had some smart comment to me and others. Today was the best...I asked her to count the candies as I was purchasing a box, and she said "ya they there"...so I trusted her, went to the car, and counted again..I counted one short than what I was charged for...I walked back in and asked her if she could count them again, as the first time she just counted the top row. She said "no need", "I told you they are all there"...I said well to just make me feel better lets count them...she said, "I told you already, no need".....I said well, thanks for checking, have a great day and I hope your day gets better b/c your attitude stinks. All while this was going on, there was a lady in line with HER DOG IN THE CART! Service Animals are NOT allowed to be in carts! That is unsanitary and against the LAW! Yes I made sure to tell that lady that too...I don't care that we are on an island, island dogs are no different than mainland Service Animals and ARE NOT ALLOWED in a cart!Shame on Longs for continuing to allow any kind of dogs/animals in their store. I won't feel bad when they poop or pee in the store or possibly attack someone and get sued!As for Cindy, I hope her day got better and she treats people with more courtesy as you never know who is in your line/store...me or someone in my family could work for corporate =)Aloooooooooha

Depending on who helps you, Long's pharmacy Kailua is TOP-NOTCH. The male pharmacist David (?) is incredibly personable and should be commended. All the female pharmacy techs are EXCELLENT, however the male one who's been there quite long, needs to improve on his customer service. He is not personable at all and comes across as if you're taking up his time. Otherwise, Long's Pharmacy Kailua is THE best pharmacy around.

I went in there to buy air pods only to walk out and find out later that one of the air pods do not work..... The electronics section of the store needs to check their products because that is not ok....

Everything but customer service was good. In particular a employee named Kehau seemed annoyed. It seemed rude the way she gestured to a direction when asking a question.

The employees are very helpful and the prices and coupons are excellent. They have items needed. Best thing: they don’t sell tobacco products. Longs is dedicated to our personal values, health, and well being.

I was shopping thru the pharmacy area and overheard a pharmacist speaking to a very elderly man in a harsh tone. Every reply, the pharmacist voice got louder and condescending. Thank God I wasnt this poor old man's daughter or I would've ripped into him. Train your so-called professionals better. Suggest he speak to him softly and on the side or have someone else do it! Also your cashiers need attitude adjustments whether they're checking on price verifications or a simple question. Why is it every time your employees act as if customers are a bother!?

Thanks to the exceptional service of Paul and the pharmacist at Longs Drugs Pharmacy in Kailua, our prescription order was entered immediately then filled within 15 minutes! At check out, our “Extra Bucks” reward was applied to an item purchased, which gave additional savings. Quick service and savings made this pharmacy visit great!

I made an appointment on line to get a Covid booster shot. I showed up on time, I checked in, they took my insurance info and asked me to wait, there were a few people ahead of me. after25 minutes I sit down to get the shot and was informed that they didn't get thier shipment of the vaccinations. the lady apologized and told me I would need to reschedule. I asked why did the system schedule me if there wasn't any vaccinations available? she answer "yes the system has a problem." Why didn't the guy who checked me in tell me there wasn't any shots? "He should have explained it to you." The poor woman looked and acted frustrated and depressed. I assume this had been happening for a while. Why didn't they put up a sign? This is terrible customer care.

Worst customer service. There can be as much as 7 workers behind the counter and only 1 window open. It seems like there is a "magic number" of people in line (possibly 12) before someone else opens another window. I gladly took my business somewhere else.
