The gifts inside this shop are way overpriced! But if you need a last minute gift, they have a few good choices. They don't sell drinks of any kind, so don't go here looking for any. The old man who works here is extremely rude! He won't answer your questions at all. When I was standing there ready to pay, he pointed to a sign and tapped it hard several times with his finger. The sign said the register was closed. Oh excuse me for not noticing! When I asked where to pay, he pointed outside. Apparently they had set up a register just outside the door. Pointing without speaking is very rude! The family that runs this shop were not true Hawaiians, but Filipino. Be prepared to be treated like a subhuman by the family who run this shop.

Wow, plan ahead, do not support such rude unhelpful service. I Waited in the long line for a while since the cashier was the only one working. All I needed was an iPhone cord, which was literally within reach of the cashier “Lin”, but she said I had to grab it. I reached around to grab it and she let the next customer go who was paying cash and took a long time. She got defensive with me when I sighed because she was making me wait and made a big deal of explaining that “she couldn’t wait for me when there was a customer in front of her”. I was the customer in front of her! Absolutely unacceptable lack customer service and basic human curtesy- Do not support this business!!!!

Gift shop closed early on Saturday Night, like at 8pm..which was strange bc it was totally open and operating on Wed Night at 10pm.You can find the famous "Honolulu Cookie Co." cookies here, they are normally only found in Oahu.

Should have considered other negative reviews before going to this shop. There is a lasy at the counter giving negative vibes for no reason. stay away from this store!

Woman working in the shop on 6/9 could possibly be ruder but I don’t want to know what that looks like. The airport itself is terrible but the shop doesn’t sell water . There are vending machines outside that are cash only: but they only take 5s and 1s. I had a 10. The gift shop wouldn’t break it for me, told me if I wanted a drink I should trek all the way to the other side of the airport. Acted like I was out of line for even asking or expecting to be able to buy a bottle of water somewhere near my gate. Absolutely terrible all around.

Iced cold water and a canned Latte which is especially lucky to find. Guy beside me just broke a glass bottle in the terminal. Anytime I can avoid single use plastic and breakables is a win-win. Most days no choice.

The lady at the counter is so rude that you wouldn't want to shop here again. Lady, if you are seeing this review, have some shame for not being humane and curtious to your customers. You are surviving because of the customers like me. So, learn how to behave if you haven't had a good brought up in your childhood.

The cashier today is very rude and not customer friendly. Seemed that he is racial profile. I am a tourist not American, he treated me very badly for a tourist.

Small gift shop located near gate 3. They have a variety of snacks (sweets) and souvenir type items that you can pick up before your flight. Staff seemed bored and very quiet, not welcoming in guests. My hubs stopped to ask where food was located to only be told "restaurant" to which he asked again where that was located to only be told again "restaurant" lol. Like no pointing in any direction for assistance or anything. Let's just say we found the "restaurant" since it was located adjacent to the gift shop.

Right by our gate or rather across from it. All outside under hut roofs, cool despite the heat from all of the open air flow. Quite a few Kona beans available. Many island treats for your flight to wherever.Chili and dark chocolate covered macadamia for $19 and $22. Pound bags of Kona blend coffees from $14 and up, about 10% Kona beans too.

Rudest worker ever- probably same person the other low review mentions. Grumpy crone with glasses and a gray ponytail. Worst way to end my vacation! Was going to buy something but didn’t because of her tone. I wouldn’t even talk to a stranger like that if they didn’t see the price tag by mistake- let alone a customer. I worked a hundred times better as a teen worker.

Seriously the rudest people in Hawaii work at the Kona airport. Way to end an excellent trip on a bad note. No aloha spirit at all! Cashier at the gift shop was beyond rude!!!

Friendly dude working the counter. Prices are definitely inflated like at all airports, but I saw plenty of things that weren't available at the ABC. Big selection of Donkey Balls, if you like those and a fair amount of last minute items for gifts
