Owner is very rude and won’t let anyone try on the jewelry. When I decided not to buy a bracelet because she refused to let me try it on she then started yelling at me to leave. Jewelry looks cheap so I’m guessing that’s why she won’t let you open the clasp to try it. Other stores nearby are much better.

The woman who runs this store is awful. I was there for maybe 5 minutes looking at the bracelets and necklaces to purchase as a souvenir gift for my mother. She rudely turns to me and says I cannot keep trying on the bracelets because my wrist is too fat and I will stretch them out and break them. I’m 130lbs and even if I was larger the audacity of this woman was remarkable…. I left promptly after her remarks even though I was originally planning on making a $50+ purchase with her. Do not give her or this this business your money, there are plenty of locals who are more than kind and deserve the business. Plus her items were wildly overpriced from what I was seeing on the rest of the island during my time there anyway, try the farmers market instead.

Sweetest woman!! Aunty helped us find perfect sizes for our rings. She’s protective of her decor and jewelry as it’s handmade and hard work to make! Love her sweet personality and eagerness to find something just for you!

My kids and I had a wonderful time in this little store looking for souvenirs and the lady was very nice. We were happy to find her her children’s name on the little wooden surfing boards as a decoration. She helped to package the gifts that we purchased. We came out of that store satisfied. The store also had the islander necklaces made of small balls and shells that you can buy for decorating your homes. Those necklaces made it seem like we were really on vacation.

We were standing in front of this place for about 2 minutes contemplating buying some wind chimes, which my husband was ringing to see how they sound. The woman who runs this place came out and started yelling at my 3 and 5 year olds that the wind chimes are on small nails and will fall on their heads if they pull on them. They weren't even the ones touching them. She made both of them cry. I've never written a bad review of anyplace until today, but I feel the need to warn other parents not to go in here.

We touched a display item and the owner went ballistic and chased us off. Touching a feather set her off. Don't shop here.

Soklang, the owner, is the sweetest woman I've met here in Hawaii! She is very knowledgeable about Kailua Kona and gave us so much great information about Hawaii and the city. She was like a personal tour guide. She hand-makes all her jewelry and her family makes mango wood lamps and coconut shell night lights. In her jewelry she uses flowers grown in her own backyard! We absolutely loved this little shop and we are so glad we stopped!
