We made an appointment to diagnose our tacoma yesterday and one of the guy that works there was very unprofessional turning us down because he accused us of smelling like Marijuana! We did not have any Marijuana on us and felt like he was being racist. I don't think you should be running a shop if you don't like to help people because of their appearance.

While checking my oil my dipstick broke in half and was not after numerous attempts was unable to retrieve it. Called John and told him what was wrong and I asked if I could bring the car into the shop. He sadly informed me that he would not be able to bring the car in due to the issue. But he did inform me on how I could get it out myself and had given me specific instructions on how to do it. I immediately did what he told me to do and was successful on getting it out.Route 66 is a great shop with and amazing staff that provides over the top customer service. I will forever recommend everyone who is seeking excellent automotive service.Thank you John, without you I would not be able to get it out.

Mike and John are the only guys I let work on my car. I'd rather take my car to them over the dealership anyday. They are transparent, affordable, and take the time to communicate what's going on, why it's happening, and how to solve the issue. I hope they don't consider retiring for a long time. Their service is such a solid resource in Kona!
