Highly recommend! They must treat their employees well because everyone is so friendly and helpful which makes for a great guest experience. Had the privilege of staying here for a few weeks recently in both basic & oceanfront rooms. Both are wonderful. You can't go wrong with any of their rooms here. Shout-out to Michael at the front desk, Conrad at the restaurant, and all housekeeping for excellent service.
Also, the band at the pool on Halloween was PHENOMENAL. It was fun listening to live music from the pool instead of just the restaurant. If those guys performed here every weekend by the pool, I'd come book just to see them and hear them play. They had people dancing and cheering. Awesome time.

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. I was running behind schedule and wasn't able to go up to my room right away. The bell men were so gracious to hold my luggage and extra items until I was able to return and enjoy my room. It was my fault that I was running late, but I truly thank them for their Aloha spirit hospitality. It was an overnight business trip for me, packed in a tight schedule.

Safety mats should at least be placed in areas where water pools, and there are many. Beautiful property.

Underwhelming and overpriced. Room could have had more furniture in it, viz chairs and bathroom layout was weird - washbasin and mirror in the main part of the room. No cups or glasses except paper cups. Balcony chairs too high as well. Staff were wonderful though, very friendly and helpful.

It was a magical and unbelievable experience for my wife and I. We were married on the Bayside Lawn overlooking the ocean, had manta rays come by, double rainbow, dolphins, and ended the night while dancing in the rain. We will cherish our moment the rest of our lives! It was manta be!!!
Rooms: Newly updated. Still working on renovations. More to come. The spa is not available yet. Minor setback.
Nearby activities: Snorkeling, boat tours, near downtown kona, variety of accommodations at the resort.
Safety: Safe resort and bay.

Great resort in a super location to all great things to do and eat around Kona. Great food, rooms and pool area. Going out to shnorkel was easy and nice.

Place was amazing and would stay there again. The food was the only let down, the lunch from the barwas good but the breakfast and dinner menus at the restaurant read really well and was fairly expensive but the meals delivered were not reflective of the presentation or cost. Other wise the place was great. Good location and the staff were top shelf.

My wife and I stayed here for an early anniversary trip and wish we had stayed longer. I want to give a special shout-out to Frankie who has the host we met on the first day at check in and he set an amazing tone for our trip. He was friendly, informative and very helpful! The rooms were very spacious (we were upgraded to ocean view room), the pools were clean, and great access to the bay. The property is just beautiful! Oh and how can I forget they have Manta Ray snorkeling that you can book!

Very nice centrally located hotel, very clean and well maintained. We had a super nice room with a small balcony overlooking the small beach and hotel pool. The beach is fresh every morning and super clean. The hotel is in a very nice central location. The restaurant and coffee shop are very central. There is also a small ABC store down on the corner where you can buy all the little things you might need. I can really only recommend the HOTEL and the staff. Absolutely 5 stars from me ?
