“I am not too surprised about the prices here. It is HUH-VAI-EEE. Place is clean and decent selection. Standard Bakery stuff. Bought a salad that was good. It looks smalls in the photo but had two chicken breasts in it. I was stuffed.”
“Store is pretty big inside. Parking was easy with the big parking lot. The staff is friendly and quick to ring you up. Food, mainly meat, are a bit expensive here but worth it.”
“Best bakery spot in the area, their selection is epic, fresh, and delicious. Staff is so warm and friendly and priced fair. Truly enjoy stopping here to start the day.”
“It may be a bit pricey, but they were friendly and had all the necessary supplies. There are no supermarkets nearby, so I think it would be better to use this one.”

It’s incredibly easy to access products, understand all the information provided, and navigate smoothly through the purchasing process. Shopping both in-store and online is always a breeze, which is why Walmart is my top choice. Keep up the great work!”

“The Kona WalMart & their famous wall of SPAM .. see photo !!Since World War ll, spam has remained an island staple. It's available everywhere. Even the McDonald's inside this Walmart, SPAM & rice is a featured meal.On the brighter side, the WalMart's in Hawaii have a huge assortment of quality Hula material for those talented enough to sew & craft. They also carry an entire department of Hawaiian based tourist items at prices far below the gift-shops. The 4 star rating is due to WalMart discontinuing their complimentary shuttle bus from the cruise ship dock to the store. This is a serious setback for crew members who need to stock up on personal items & can't afford taxi cab service. This store sits high in the hills above town & has the best unobstructed view of the Kona Coast & Pacific Ocean in all of this beautiful area's landscape.”
“Paradise mexican store has been the go to place for my every need. They have fresh groceries, fresh bread when it's made. The piñatas and candy bags are perfect for any parties and celebrations. The owner of the store is the most amazing sweet women I have ever met in my life, very knowledgeable and accommodating to your need when your shopping at her store. I highly recommended coming and checking this store out if your in need of authentic Mexican groceries and anything else. The hours are very accommodating. This place is perfect for our community. SHOP LOCAL!!! 10/10”
“They have a food stall inside the food court shared with the other nearby food places. We didn't try anything except the chicharrones. Crunchy outside, soft inside ?. Sauces offered look to be on the sweeter side, but they did have a chili vinegar (not hot) that helps cut through the pork belly fat. $9 for a half pound and they'll chop it up for you”

If you are on a budget while in Hawaii, definitely go to grocery stores before restaurants. We got the poke bowl ($11) and the combo plate ($10) the combo plate comes with a ton of food! Definitely worth the price.”

“We arrived on the island at around 8pm. By the time our luggage came in, it was almost 8:30pm. Most of the restaurants close at 9 or 10pm. We didn't want to rush while we eat since we had a long flight & really wanted to unwind. We headed to Safeway to see what they had to offer. We initially came in planning to buy stuff to make sandwiches. They have so many options for hot items & to go items. Unfortunately, the deli was closed. They had tamales, chicken, salad. Lots of options. We ended up with a roll of California sushi, a packet of raviolis, a bag of Cesar salad, macadamia cookies, and Hawaiian tea and called it a night. I ended up going back for macadamia white chocolate cookies and even brought some back to the main land. They were honestly really good! They are fully stocked with everything you can think of. It's funny to see tourists scrambling for food options included us late at night. Keep safe land in mind just in case it gets too late!”
“good value in the discounts! HONEST discounts!!! Honesty being a rare thing in BIG HI tourism business! Support honesty! Boycott dishonesty... it is very easy to do!”
