We were so happy with the service at Ferguson! They saved our bacon several times. We were doing a remodel. They went above and beyond to get us what we needed on time. Big shout out to Shad!Then they saved us again. We had a tricky Moen part that would have shut us down without the part. Viola! They had it. Nice people. Very knowledgeable

I needed 2 chrome escutcheons that they didn't have in stock. There was an empty bin where they should have been located so I assumed they were just not aware they were out and needed to order some for their inventory.They had a slightly smaller size in the next bin that I could have modified but the salesperson said no problem I just order them for you. I wasn't in a hurry so I said yes order them and call me when they come in. At that time there was no mention of any shipping cost. I would have gladly paid for shipping if informed at that time and was presented with any reasonable additional cost. The total price for the escutcheons was $7.53. When I received my monthly invoice the "freight" charge that was added was $32.00. I thought this must have been a billing error and called their accounting and asked for an adjustment . I received a call back from a person other than I placed my order with and was informed that he was there when I was working with my salesperson and told me special orders are not returnable and would require a shipping charge. I'm a run a business and am very understanding and have no problem with any reasonable costs but I really have no patience with these type of surprises. If I was informed at the time I placed the order that the shipping was going to run $32 on a $7.00 item I would not have placed the order. The real insult was the condescending, rude attitude of the person that made the call back to inform me, "Hey we live on island, that's who we use and that's the cost of 2nd day UPS" air". I told him I wasn't in a hurry for the parts and a more reasonable shipping choice would have been more appropriate. Well guess what, that's not the only cost because his condescending, insolent, rude lack of customer relations just cost him and his company my business.

The absolute worst customer service of anywhere I have dealt with on the Big Island. No aloha and no follow up. Always the same sales guy who makes you feel like he's doing you a favour by talking to you. Have had many dealings with him during the construction of our home. Most recently, I tried to buy a toilet. This guy who was "helping" me was barely civil, didn't answer my questions and just sent me a photo of a toilet...didn't even include the price. When I asked my follow up questions he just ignored me. If that's not how you like to be treated...RUN. We received much better service from HPM and were happy to give them our business. Would not recommend this place at all if you have a choice.
