I go to this FedEx ship center occasionally to drop off packages. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The store is fairly large and in a busy shopping area with restaurants and different stores. It's clean and they seem very easy to work with and efficient.

Came here to ship off a beautiful framed vintage piece before our send off and everyone was so helpful and kind. Mark went out of his way to find us some extra material for extra packaging. Thanks to the young dude who answered our questions and the woman for finding us a box! My hubby and I were able to pack and ship it off without any worry. :)

Wanted to ship two large acrylic signs to Kona for my wedding a couple month ago. Cost over $242, and they didn't even get it shipped to the specified address. Filed a dispute and the Kona office confirmed that the driver delivered it to the wrong house, promising a refund and reimbursement of the lost items. Followed-up a month later when nothing was reimbursed, they said that we needed to file a claim, which they re-opened the investigation and went the other direction, claiming they did deliver, denying my claim. Do they not keeps notes? Called again today and apparently they re-opened and immediately closed it without looking into it. Everyone we talked to from the office to the complaints department either did not help like their hands were tied, or kept referring us to others who also could not help. Why are they trying to keep money for a service they failed to provide? Why is it so hard to get answers? Why is there no accountability? I just what back what was essentially stolen, unfortunately we can't get back all the time wasted, but least back our money. This has been needlessly frustrating, but it feels like they don't care because they already got paid. The complaints department also has no email, so I can't have a paper trail of our interactions. It's an "our word vs theirs" situation.

I never write reviews, but felt I needed to today because of the amazing service I just received at the FedEx shipping center in Kona. I needed to ship my video camera to the mainland for a repair and was very flustered because I'd never sent something so expensive in the mail before. John was just awesome. He walked me through the whole process and was extremely gracious. After I sealed up the box, I realized I hadn't taken a photo of the form I needed to include in it and he let me into the staff room so that I could reopen the box and take the photo. He even lent me his own knife to cut open the packing tape. Can't say enough good things about this place and the service i received. The whole time he was smiling and making me feel comfortable with taking up so much of his time. Sorry to anyone in line behind me. And thank you so much for your hep today John!

Mark at the airport shipping center is a great guy with lots of pride in his work and taking care of his customers. He went out of his way with every detail and helping me feel comfortable throughout the process of shipping internationally.

Super small location but the only "full service" place to go in town. Only one person working who gets overwhelmed. Seems like their computers are super slow/not updated and everything takes forever. Not like a normal mainland FedEx store with lots of services and people to help. Typical of Kona to get second-rate facilities and nothing is convenient

Ordered something with haste and opted to pick up at the ship center so I didn't have to wait for it it be dropped off at my house (a gift for someone, needed that day!). The staff was very friendly and was assisting myself and 2 other people in the room in a very friendly manner. Mind you, the inside is very cramped, 3 people inside was getting a little cozy, but the worker was making everyone feel taken care of and putting us all in a good mood. Location is easy to find at the airport. No issues with parking availability. Overall I'm very satisfied with their service!

I needed to ship 2 large boxes with road bikes using BikeFlights through FedEx. This was my first experience using this service, and bringing my bikes to FedEx and this location. John was incredibly helpful - he went above and beyond by helping to bring the bikes inside, weigh, and measure them, give me quotes, print and apply my receipts after I got them through the online BikeFlights service. He truly made what I thought would be an overwhelming experience much easier. What a relief!
