Tomas Hunt in Kona set up a test drive for a Suburu Forester we wanted with Jovee Rivera on Hilo side. Jovee was very helpful and showed us, very patiently, all the features of the car. We went for the test drive where both my husband and I drove it. Returning to the dealership, we decided to purchase the car and went in to talk with Jonathan (sorry didn’t get last name) in finance. This went very easy as we were not going to finance but pay upfront. We returned a few days later to pick up car and Jovee helped with all the setups as we were very unfamiliar with this part. Car had been washed with all the stickers neatly removed. Overall we were very satisfied with the dealership and everyone we dealt with.

edit: We have a had our vehicle for a year now and love it but this location has no interest in servicing your vehicle once they sell it to you. Unless you have a local shop to take it to, I would avoid Big Island Motors.

I had been looking for a good car for 8 months, over which period of time I contacted Kovee, multiple times, his honesty and the transparency stuck with me. When I saw that Big Island Motors had my preferred car in stock, I went right back to him, bought the car. Process very simple, nice respectful crew, do not flash fake math at you because you're a woman like they do at Honda or Pono, it was great. Highly recommend.
