“I wanted to make sure and post a positive review for the Kona Home Depot. I have found this store to be well stocked compared to many Home Depot's and the employees here have been super helpful for my various purchases. The crew in the garden center helped me load a huge plastic shed into my van and were extremely helpful. The people who work in Customer service were also extremely helpful and I could tell they actually wanted to help their customers despite many customers coming in upset.Also the crew that gets the carts in the parking lot. They do an amazing job and I don't think I have ever seen a home depot parking lot as well organized as Kona. Sure it's still home depot so many shoppers will be pissed for one thing or another but I have to say the employees at the Kona store do a great job and it is much appreciated.”

“My husband went to Kona to pick up a chest freezer 7 cubics because Hilo did not have what we needed. Our freezer went down right before Labor Day. It is beautiful. It is camo print. Looks great & it is working fantastic. Friendly service.”
“If you are shopping for an appliance in Kailua Kona Hawaii, forget Lowes or Home Depot. Give Hakoda's a try. The personnel are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We have had our microwave, oven and washer replaced by them. Every transaction, facilitated by Mary, went smoothly and seamlessly. The delivery guys are great. They arrive on time, set up and make sure the appliance works. You will never find this level of home town service at our local big box stores. And if a problem does develop, they are here locally to service what they sell. They care about their community.”
