Great rental place! Super easy and high quality gear. We rented four sets of snorkel gear from them with no problems. I forgot to return one set, and the woman was willing to stay ten minutes past closing to let me drive in and drop the last set off - so nice!

Very kind and easy to work with small business. Great prices and worked with me to fully understand the gear I rented and the area I was going to adventure. I highly recommend this small business and they hire local too. They are a great asset to Kona.

Not sure why there are so many good reviews. The price is ok but the quality of the gear is terrible. For about 30$, you can get the same cheap set at Walmart. One on my fins was broken, the mask is cheap quality compared to my friend who bought one for 19$ on amazon ... getting all the way to Hawaii to not see the fishes as you should... sad.

With no reservation I walked up and was immediately provided with a kayak to rent. Samantha was very helpful and informative as she patiently answered all my questions. The shack is across the street from the bay and wheels are provided to roll your kayak to the beach to launch, as well as a lock to keep them safe while on the water. An hour cost only $20 and free time added to allow you time to get in/out. You made my day!

I rented a double kayak from her and she was super helpful and kind, said she was thankful for me renting from her. The place is really cute and has good options for clothing swimsuits and swim gear like goggles and waterproof phone cases etc. I went there multiple times throughout the day to buy different items from her actually. I will be returning again :)

Ali’i Adventures, and especially Tom, are great! They are my “go to” source for SUP and Snorkeling gear in Kona. We come here relatively often and Tom always takes great care to get us the gear we need for a great day at the beach!!

Convenient location, best price in town, even better customer service. I easily crossed the street carrying my paddle board to the launching area - no hassle of strapping boards to the roof of a car! I was surrounded by spinner dolphins - majestic location for paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming. Prepare to be amazed! Shari and Ben were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and professional. I would rent from Ali’i Adventures in a heartbeat. Go for it!
