I’ve been going there for almost 7 years, my parents have had accounts there for more than 10 years, but Pam, at the Kahului branch, you suck. You’re not accommodating. She doesn’t take time to know her customers or create a relationship. You’re disrespectful and I hope you know you’re the reason the bank lost me??

Awful bank. Lady had no clue what she was doing with the auto loan and at the end we are getting charged 3k for something she didn't even explain. Never doing business with them again

Been banking with Valley Isle CU since 2013 and I am usually happy with the service. However, since the pandemic (or perhaps even before it), they are not answering the phone no matter what numbers you call. I even drove 20 miles to go in person to complain about this issue a couple of weeks ago. Maui is known for its all around poor service but since when do banking institutions benefit from not picking up the phone?

Cons: Heads up for anyone using their debit cards. Members are limited to only 10 transactions per day. In my personal experience this limitation was unheard of and one I never found out until recently. On top of this 10 transaction limitation, if you ask to have the limit extended beyond 10 transactions in a 24 hour period, VIFCU will not let you file a claim. So you are unprotected for any fraudulent charges, which is outrageous. Now if you are traveling or on vacation it isn't unusual to make multiple transactions in a single day. Therefore a limitation like this is frustrating especially when you're no longer protected after you make the request for the removal. Parking is limited during peak hours especially since they share the building with other businesses. Pros: Becoming a member is simple and straightforward. People who are usually doing non complicated transactions/business inside are fairly quick and the tellers get you in and out with little fuss (which I appreciate).

Been using this bank for a while, but they never, ever answer their phone. Credit card got stolen, and couldn't cancel it because they never answers their phone. I called all 3 locations.

Their awesome, I'm so happy I'm banking with them, l have my favorite tellers but as a whole their just totally awesome, love their services, been with them since 2005!!!
