The best Portuguese sausage ever. My grandchildren grew up with their Portuguese sausage and now live across the country and wish they could get it. Their blood sausage is to die for. My grandmother use to make it from scratch in haiku Maui and it’s just like it. I hope they don’t stop making either sausages ever.

So happy that they are finally able to send their ono Portuguese sausage to the mail and again. I ordered a dozen sent to me while on travel for work. The ordering process was quick and easy and the customer service was awesome. They called to make sure my order was correct and to let me know that I could order more than what they estimated would fit in the cooler box. Of course I wanted to order the most I could in one box, so I was able to get 12 - 16oz sausages in one shipment. The shipment was quick, but due my error in not giving the full address I wasn't able to get it until a day later. I was fine with that because I've had it ship to me not frozen before. But they called me that day when they noticed it wasn't delivered on time and recommended that I don't eat it. They even shipped me another box of sausages the next week that I got on time at no charge. I really appreciated them going above and beyond in taking care of their customers. Mahalo Nui Loa!

We love their pupu sausage. We order it in the 3 pound size and take it for family and friends when we visit the neighbor islands or the mainland. It is great for breakfast, bentos ,pupu etc. It freezes well. Be sure to call the factory ahead and order because it is not always available. It is a few dollars cheaper than at Island Grocery.

This place is a factory that makes Portuguese sausage of different flavors and a single other non-Portuguese style. Really good stuff. Cheaper to buy here than the store and sometimes really good deals. Not sure what criteria the guy below downvoted on thinking it was German sausage place named Uncle Louie.

I have had Uncle Louie's two ways. One - at the Made in Maui County Festival. This was the perfect place to sample some of their tried and true favorites like the pineapple. The other was in shopping at Longs and also when they used to carry this at Safeway. One of the things that I love about Uncle Louies is that there is no MSG and no sugar added to a lot of their sausages. The biggest thing I have noticed - their sausage doesn't drain a whole lot of fat out when you fry it up. Their portuegese sausage is my go to when I want to make chili, musubis or just for breakfast. There's no "smell" you get like with other sausages. Again - no crazy fat drippings to splatter you either. Great flavor, great prices, great quality.

Sorry, have to vote down on this shop. First , it s no sausage deli. They offer one small cooler, the size that water is normally sold from, and all the sausage is Portuguese in about four styles and hot dogs, I think two styles. . And Italian links. I asked if "any " of the styles are similar to German Brauts. She looked at me like I was speaking German. So no sale here, but this side of Alamaha has restaurants I had not seen before. So worth the search.

Great sausage!!!! My dad had a bbq at his house once and featured this sausage! So Ono!! I went back and bought some on my next trip to have at his house...only downside I wanted to take some back home to Honolulu but didn't think about freezing and the logistics of it to take home, next time I will plan better. The four stars is because they are closed on the weekends,that would have helped with getting it back to Oahu lol :)
