Love this store & staff!
While we may not always be able to purchase big ticket items. Staff remains friendly, and helpful. Even allows my daughter and I to try on new makeup looks without side eye đ¤Ł. Thank you Ulta Aloha

I did not have a good experience at this hair salon. I paid over $70 for a low quality hair cut. i was so bummed. I grew My hair out long one length down to my chest so that i could have a nice style cut into it. So i've been waiting months for this moment of getting a nice style cut in. I brought several pictures of the design i wanted. The stylist wasn't super friendly and engaging, which should have been a red flag to make me stop. but then The stylist proceeded to cut off 3 times more hair than I asked and she cut it all to even length like a bob cut. It is completely not what i wanted and the cut had no style at all. It's also uneven in some places and i'm going to have to pay to have someone else work on it. She did not offer me a mirror to see the back, but i could tell it was all one even length (boring!). I asked her to please cut in some layers for me as asked and she said she was out of time and needed to attend to her next customer. but she only spent 30 minutes on my hair. It just was not a good experience at all. she didn't have good integrity and didn't seem care at all about getting me a style that i was happy with. Very overpriced and the way she working on my hair made me wonder if she had any professional training at all? I will never go back to this store or salon. the staff was not friendly or pono.

Hawaii's first Ulta Beauty store opened up on Maui on July 25, 2018 at the Puunene Shopping Center in a 10,000 sf spot. I went in mainly to check out their cologne selection. Needless to say, it's just a smaller version of what Macy's has at similar prices.
SERVICES:
They offer salon services for kids, men and women with eight chairs, along with facial, lash, and makeup services. Oddly, men and women pay same amount for haircuts.
RETAIL:
Wow, they literally sell anything and everything under the sun that's beauty-related for men and women, including product lines normally found only in salons. They also boast a small MAC counter.
OVERALL:
A convenient combination salon & beauty supply one-stop-shop.

Went in to return a foundation on Halloween that was way to light for my skin (which was my fault I thought I matched it good) as soon as I walk in there were a bunch of Ulta employees at the door that greeted me so I kindly asked for some help matching correctly. The lady helped me for 2 minutes and then seen that all the employees were taking pictures for Halloween in there costumes so she said either try this,this or this and that was it she ran.Taking a pic was obviously way more important than helping a customer. I got over it because I didnât know what color to match correctly and so I just went to return my item up front. THEN when I was at the register (who the register girl didnât even ask if I was helped mine you if I found everything okay)the same girl that ran comes up to me and goes â just curious what color you went withâ I said ânothing I didnât know what I was doing so I got over it and have to goâ THEN she has the nerve to tell me âoh well maybe you should come on a day thatâs not a holidayâ I said yah I guess your right!! like SERIOUSLY!!! Who says that!! Most terrible experience here!! How rude!!I never ever write reviews either just because i donât want to complain but if that lady didnât say that rude comment I would have just let it go⌠there usually nice people that work there so I donât know what happened today ??ââď¸

I've always had a great experience at this store. All the employees who have helped me have been kind, given me their full attention, made honest recommendations, and never made me feel pressured to buy. When online shopping is so quick and convenient, it's this kind of customer service that keeps me coming back.

It is a place worth stopping by at least once due to its geographical advantage of having many stores nearby. Because it has a different structure from Korean beauty stores, you can find products you might not have seen before.

My recent trip to Ulta Maui wasn't what I expected. I only came to get one thing, the big bottle of Clinique acne solutions cleansing foam. When I have asked nicely if they have anymore, this blonde curly hair lady at the front register gave me the rudest answer "Well, did you look if there was any on the shelf?" I didn't see any.. "then we're all out" and gave a simple shrug.
With excellent customer service, she could've apologized for it being out and suggested a simiar product or at least check if there's any in the back. I ended up getting 2 of the smaller bottles and spending more.
This is the service I get for signing up for their credit card, disappointed.

I don't know much about makeup and never really learned how to use it other than wearing mascara. I'm really great full Emily changed my experience and made trying on different shades of blush fun, when I had absolutely no idea what to look for. She was extremely kind, approachable, and interested, and patient in my concerns. Thank you so much

Walked into the store not knowing where I was headed with my list of things to buy, and I was greeted by Stephanie. She was fantastic and helped me locate and add all 9 things to my basket. It helped this senior citizen save time and energy. It made my shopping there so easy and quick. Mahalo Stephanie for your help today.

Kahului maui had an appointment and I had to wait over 15 minutes I just had surgery and only had enough energy to come at the time I was scheduled. The salon really didn't care that I was waiting. They should manage their time so it doesn't overlap with other clients.. I hate when they make you wait and you were scheduled at a specific time. Because now they are gonna rush to the next person...

Just posting to thank Shayne for her amazing recommendations and help yesterday! I was blown away by her kindness, patience and the time she took helping me for over an hour. I've only ever worn minimal foundation and really needed some direction. She walked me through the entire process for light coverage to full coverage make up. How to apply each product and matched my skin tones. She even gave me 2-3 recommendation for each type with different price ranges. I was so lost and am very thankful to Shayne for all her advice and giving exactly what I was looking for! Thank you again!! I'll be going back here, especially for more Shayne recommendations. :)

I've gone two times in the past two months, and both times, my products were still out of stock. So, I just placed my order online. The store looks clean and in order. As I was roaming about, no one came to ask if I needed assistance. It took me about 20 minutes to find that another product I was looking for was out of stock, but the tester was there, which gave me a sign that it should be coming?
