Horrible customer service from one of the employees. A young man didn't greet me when I entered the store yet we both made eye contact. After 10 minutes of walking around the store not once did he approach me. I witnessed the boy sitting down and texting on his phone. I have worked in retail for many years and this was unacceptable. Later on, I seen the back door assuming its the employee break room and I was approach by a lady who asked if I was okay and assured me if I had any questions. At least someone on staff was on it! Came in with nothing and left with nothing. Management needs to step up.

Called their store to see if they had women's olukai slippers in stock. Someone answered, quiet for 5 seconds then said "Hello." I said "is this Shapers?" The girl stated "yes." I said "well you should have said that in the first place." She said "I did say 'hello, shapers'". HORRIBLE phone etiquette and customer service. Best believe that I'm not buying $100 Olukai slippers or anything else for that matter at Shapers. Teach your associates proper customer service management.

The minute I walked into Shapers I was greeted by a very nice Wahine. She immediately helped me out because I was interested in the Yeti products. She told me the functions of the product and knowledge of Yeti. Her customer service was very professional and excellent! She told me her name is Maile, and I honestly believe that Shapers should give her a raise! I definitely will return again and look forward to her warm greetings and excellent service! Keep up the good work kid!

IMHO - Covid Edition My husband was complaining about his sandals and I told him that a friend loved her Olukai's. So as we walked past Shapers, he noticed they had Olukai's... Shortly after we walked in, he found a pair that interested him. The friendly sales associate told him he was free to try them on and gave a little history about the sandals. He stepped into them, I told him to walk around in them, and "sold!" I was most impressed by the friendliness and customer service from the two young women staffing the store. We felt welcomed and valued as customers.

Great customer service..super nice and helpful and decent discounts surf wear, ! I always get my clothes here when we visit...I recommend Shapers!!

Not bad selection on merchandise but sometimes their employees aren't so friendly & seems new or clueless...bought slippers, spent over $90, had a promo flyer saying purchase $30 or more on reef get a free hat. Well the employees didn't even say anything until I brought it up, then one employee said yeah you get a free hat, the next employee tells us they're all out. No can! Either get or no more...if no more or pau sale, hemo your signs!!!!!!!

They always have cute girls working here, and it is a fantastic surfwear store. Their skateboards are great, but please don't steal them. This store is awesome and we don't need more local shops closing. Check out their sale rack for shirt. Totally worth it.
