Went in to the store to try on Maui Jim sunglasses because I had a gift card from work. As soon as the associate/owner found out we could only order them online, he was absolutely NO help. He huffed when we asked to try on a pair and then immediately went back and started vacuuming. Would not recommend

Was a long time back but remembered purchasing something and giving a little extra in a few dollar bills so I would get a $5 bill in return.. owner ended up just taking my bills and said I didnt give any extra bills so I got a few bucks in change rather than a full $5 bill. did not want to complain since its only like $2 but still shady

This sunglass store is the BEST on Maui! We couldn't be happier with the glasses that we purchased from Shades of Maui and the amazing product knowledge and assistance from the owner, Yun (who couldn't have been more helpful). The prices are fair, the Maui Jims we bought were just what we need for island life and the friendly aloha spirit will bring us back to Shades of Maui in the future! Thanks again, Shades of Maui!

Friendly and helpful owner. Large selection of sunglasses, some relatively inexpensive -- bought Madson ones for ~$70.

This was a great choice for new Sunglass shopping. We lost a pair at Sea and we only want one brand. Maui Jim. This is a hundred dollar store. Glasses come in hundred dollar multiples. So worth it!

We like the owner of this place and came back recently after two years to get new pairs of high quality sunglasses. Great selection, conveniently located. Highly recommend stopping in here first before considering buying online.

My wife waited a few minutes for the the counter guy to get off the phone. He knew she was there, she was the only person in the store with him whatever was happening on the phone was more important.
