These Guy's are the BEST...amazing..especially Noni and Brian!!! They saved me big bucks from having to buy a new fridge...! called around everywhere to replace a compressor all told me nope can't help. But Noni and Brian said YES! they can do it. Be wary doing business with this company. We had an a/c unit go out and place we bought it had us call them for a diagnostic. It was determined that unit needed to be replaced and was under warranty. They called Johnstone supply who had told us to call them, Johnstone said it was under warranty. So Scott's asked us if we would like them to install. We said sure thinking it was all under warranty. After it was installed they hit us with an outrageous install and diagnostic fee of $645! Only then did they explain that install is not under warranty. Never asked for authorization or gave us an estimate. Very underhanded. At this point they said if we wanted it removed we would have to pay labor to remove! Basically put us in a position where we were stuck instead of being upfront and honest. We would have gladly paid the diagnostic fee and had someone else install for far less. Buyer beware with this company!

Started out good but after 5 visits to fix lg freezer, installing the parts that lg sent them and completely breaking the fridge now too, they refuse to take phone calls from myself or lg. Left me totally in the dark about what they did and just never showed up again. $2200.00 refrigerator still not working!

I'v had this company out to my home twice for two separate issues and they we're completely incompetent. First time I had them out for an issue they said required parts from Oahu, three weeks later they came back and installed it improperly, I had them come back only to have the same guy jerry rig-it again. Second time, I had them come out and check a leaking drain pan, the technician said they would need to use nitrogen to clear out the, at which time he said the office would call and schedule a time. No call back. I called another company and they found the main issue that Scott's didn't. I don't like beating up companies as people make mistakes, but I didn't get good service. On a good note the office lady taking the calls was super nice.

A window AC in our rental condo was acting up, was very expensive to fix and had to be replaced ASAP. But it's winter, ACs are not a seasonal item here in Hawaii (ha-ha)!, our association adopted new rules on the sound level, in short - I wasn't able to locate an AC to replace ours. I called a few companies on Yelp, and Scott's Cooling wasn't the fastest to call back. But it was the owner who called me, listened to me, called his suppliers, then called me back and really helped me understand my options and pricing. I am leaving this review for the most informational help I received during my research. We did find a temporary solution so we can wait until new ACs come to stores in spring, and then I will not hesitate to hire this company to install it.

Surfs up, They no show!!! Called 1/2 hour before service appointment to cancel. Not to inform they would be late, but cancel. Basically told me that there commercial accounts are more important, they had a commercial refrigeration unit emergency and that they needed to send all of there staff to it for the next two days! Hum Whatever I called another company and had the best service ever!

Horrible experience. Too many specifics to elaborate. Installed zone units throughout home. Used pumps on every unit, all failed soon after short warranty. Had regular scheduled maintenance that often found additional problems needing repair. Believe we have been ripped off. When told we would no longer use Scott's for our AC repair and maintenance we never received a call back by anyone expressing concern about our experiences and decision, it offers to make us a satisfied customer.

Very poor customer service, setup an appointment to install an ice machine, they called the day before (just before they closed) to cancel with no reschedule date. After finally getting a hold of someone they told me that they cant do the install till next week and that I should probably find another company to do it. Sad that this is the way they conduct business and treat their clients.
