Let me start by saying, do not seek advice from the internet unless you really know your techie stuff. I should have known that the problem with my computer was above my pay grade. I am a great bookkeeper, but I do not know how to fix a computer. So, using advice from you tube, I thought I killed my laptop at the end of the month when I had multiple bank statements to reconcile.
After getting absolutely no sleep that night, I looked online and found Maui Computer Care.
I took my laptop there on Monday morning April 1st and I have to tell you I really felt like an April fool. When I arrived I found a very empathetic, knowlegable and tech savy person named Kim Herrera. She put me at ease immediately and left me with a feeling of hope. She called me the next day and told me that I needed a solid state hard drive, mine had worn out. I picked up my computer mid day on Wednesday April 3rd. My ever so slow and tedious laptop boots up quickly, I had no data loss and I am able to complete my work in a fraction of the time It was taking me while my laptop was struggling. All of this for an extremely reasonable price which was far below what a new basic laptop would cost, not to mention transfering of my data to a new machine.
Thank you so much Kim, I'm so grateful that I chose the right shop!

I live approximately two hours from any computer repair place and my work computer started doing weird things and stopped working. I brought it into Kim on Wednesday and had it back Friday. Not only did she fix the computer, but also helped me understand things a little bit more and pointed me in the right direction for updating. Kim has a great laugh and amazing sense of humor, something I never thought people that worked on computers had. Also as a bonus, turned out to be a lot less expensive than I thought it might be. 110% recommend Kim

Awesome experience, my old Mac laptop didn't start, after calling earlier Kim said to drop it off. She had it running the next day, but I erased too much stuff so she helped get the newest OS available and also helped transfer all my documents from an external Zip drive. I was very happy with the customer service and the price was very fair. Kim is very knowledgeable, nice, funny and helpful. I will take all my computers to her from now on and highly recommend her to my friends and family

I went all over for help with my computer that completely went blank and the last place I went to said that they will reboot my computer and loose everything. So glad someone recommended me to Kim and she got it up and running the following day!
So blessed to have someone who knows what to do! Such an invaluable service to many people on the Island!

She scammed me. Make sure you get a quote before she touches your computer. She has no qualms about overcharging you. Watch out!

Her abilities seem endless, and the quality of her service is excellent. My personal experiences with Maui Computer Care have all been excellent.
