Having never windsurfed in Maui before. Kyla and Jeff were incredibly kind, helpful and patient with me. They set me up with a kit based on the current wind levels and my skill level. And before I picked up the gear, they were incredibly easily to communicate with and answered all the questions I had very promptly. Awesome shop and experience.

I rented windsurfing gear here and it was exactly what I needed. It was my first time on Maui and the staff gave me advice about windsurfing at Kanaha beach. All and all the rental process was easier than I thought!

Very friendly and accomdating located about a mile from one of the most inviting windsurf beaches i have ever seen. Dont be put off by the slightly industrial neighborhood or the nearby water treatment plant. The kit is top notch and you don't need anything of your own except maybe your own favorite harness. If you don't have one, no worries, a seat or waist will be included with the whatever board you choose, 2 rigs appropriate for the wind and universal roof bars. HOT sails are offered and are made by the owner. The kit i had was perfect with little sign of wear. The also have foils, kites and stand ups too if that's your thing. Will definitely visit again.

We rented windsurfing gear here. Jeff’s and Kyla’s advice on the boards and sails sizing was perfect for the weather conditions. They made us feel welcome and answered all our questions.They also had a great recommendation for an instructor, Bernd a world class windsurfer and super friendly instructor.The location is a 5 minute drive from Kanaha Beach Park. (Second photo)The owner is the maker of Hot Sails, which was the fun sails we rented.

Great prices, staff and customer care!We rented kite 9 and 11 and got them brand new. The wind was too strong so we went back to get a smaller size and they gave us another one (brand new) right away.We did get an old bar which one of its lines tore mid riding.They compensated us generously and immediately gave us a new bar to continue to ride with.And it is vey close to the kite beach!Very suggested.

This was the place to go for all your rental needs!Jeff was very nice and listened to what we needed and recommended and gave us the right gear to rent at a reasonable cost. All the equipment worked well and they have equipment for both Kiting as well as windsurfing.They have limited new items for sale however

Kayla and Jeff were great, very nice and very helpful, so was Bernd as an instructor with my sonHot Sails were great, shop closest to the beach, everyone made our sailing enjoyable. Kanaha Kai has been my shop to go in Maui in every visit

New owners are very friendly, great people offer good price for rental and possibility to return after hours. They also rent kids equipment for windsurfing. Location is great, close to Kanaha and harbour depending what you wish to do: windsurf, kitesurf, wing, surf they have it all and provide straps and roof racks for transport.
