This is my go to upholstery place! Joe's has done my car upholstery as well as som furniture upholstery for me. Never disappointed and al always done fast and done right. Can't ask for more

Terrible, don't waste your money! My car was worse off than when i brought it in. Bad service. Owner has an attitude! Not nice.

I made a big mistake trusting these guys with my truck, They buffed my truck and left me with swirls and scratches, dents on the roof as of the guy was climbed all over the roof, don't let these guys touch your vehicle.

Took four weeks to cover my seat with a cover I'd never seen before,(wrong color and not my selection) when I arrived to pick it up, I was met with beligerance and defensiveness. Would make no attempt to make it right. I would NOT reccommend this guy and disservice to my worst enemy. Initially I set up an appt but needed to cancel and reschedule due to a family emergency. After calling the day before and of appt I finally got through. The woman who answered the phone who identified herself as "Joe's wife" at the end of our unpleasant conversation was so rude and unprofessional. Sarcastically I was told to just cancel and she refused to let me speak to Joe. After calling a few more times for Joe to explain and reschedule, I never received a call back. Later I was informed that they do not want my business. In my opinion that type of behavior from a business is unacceptable, especially if a custoner request to speak to the owner.I'm happy to say I did take my business elsewhere where I was treated with respect and the owner was very kind and professional. In fact, my estimate was more affordable with additional services that Joe's Custom Upholstery did not offer. This was truly a blessing in disguiseI have Joe's Custom Upholstery to thank for the terrible customer service.

Reviews are very subjective. My life's experiences have always proven fruitful when I walk in to a business myself and form my own opinion on how I was treated, the services provided and the overall feeling I had when I left there. When I met Jody for the first time, she was very friendly, honest and helpful. I needed a headrest redone from my leather sectional by Stressless, purchased from Homeworld over 4 years ago. While I was finally able to reorder a brand new headrest from the manufacturer (4 weeks later), I decided to have the damaged one redone anyway. (New one coming from Norway in who knows when?!?!) Jody was very transparent with the numerous choices of fabric that did not match exactly. I clearly understood what I was getting, the estimate of charge and the time frame involved. She not only finished it perfectly, it was done ahead of quoted time and for a great price. I challenge all consumers to keep a positive, open attitude and see what you get in return-more than likely, if you exude positivity, you'll get it back 100 fold. Thank you, Jody & Joe's!

I was thinking of doing my headliner with you "joes upholstery" because I've grew up knowing your company since I was in a car club. But... by reading all of the testimony of your customers i think i will pass and go somewhere else... I have just called literally just now just to try and find out how is their services and the lady who answered the phone do not sound enthusiastic or happy at all.

If Yelp allowed me to give negative stars I would, but unfortunately the lowest it will allow is 1 star. Joe repaired soft top convertible roof and although it looked great originally, after about a dozen times of taking the roof up/down, it started to come apart. I returned to him to get him to fix it and he refused to do it - although he did say he would do it again if I paid him again. His argument was that I was responsible for the roof coming apart because 'my craftsmanship was second to none and and in my 40 years of doing this I've never seen this happen so you must have done this by forcing it to come apart on your own'. After trying to reason with him on why I would actually do such a thing, he wouldn't do it unless I paid him so I left - why would I pay him again when it was his poor quality, and it would likely have happened again! I have since gone to LD Upholstery in Haiku and they did a great job. In fact I paid more than what Joe wanted me to pay to do the job again and was happy to pay more and go out of my way to Haiku because I was so upset - not only because it was a poor job, and not only because I would have to pay again, but mostly because how Joe treated me. I should have guessed there was an issue with this place when I saw how he treated another customer when I first dropped off the car (equally disrespectful). I wish I had read all the various reviews on Google/Yelp before I went originally. Joe - the only reason you've been around 40 years is because you don't have competition. Go to LD instead people - DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Go to JN Automotive Upholstery instead!! Totally awesome customer service!! They fixed the mess created by Joe's and only had the car for 3 days!! Joe is a total joke and does crap work!!
