There's never more than 2 tellers open. A 15 minute bank run always turns into a 45 minute ordeal. There's other people in the bank but none are interested in helping the line that is now 15 deep. Total b******** Do not bank here if you have anything else to do that day.

We have banked with this branch since 2004. Through all of our business ups and downs they have been there for us. Everyone is friendly and courteous. I love this group of dedicated people. Some have been there since the bank opened. A few of my favorites have left, but I am always greeted with a smile when I come into the branch. Thank you Steph, Pat, Esther, Janice, Annie and anyone else who I left out. LOVE you all.C.F.

I had a negative experience with the bank teller yesterday. Enough so that I am ready to drop Central Pacific Bank and join Bank of Hawaii instead. She was interrogating me with at least 20-30 personal questions and treating me with suspicion, unfriendliness, & untrustworthiness. She would repeat the same questions 2 or 3 times as well, and I'm just like "Are you serious?" It was quite a frustrating experience...by far the worst banking experience I have ever had. Zero out of five stars.

They try their best to be nice but their lack of knowledge on how to do their job and understanding of customer service leaves you to fen for yourself. At first I enjoyed my visits. Staff can be friendly. But the more I go, the more i dread the trip. They have no answers to any important questions but they will give you a false answer any way just to shut you up. I have been lied to, had employees raise their voice at me, ive been told I would receive a call back and never get called back multiple times. Today was the last straw. I pulled the manager steph aside, told her the issue I am dealing with in great detail, she evidently chose to not to listen because she thought i was asking for a refund on a late fee, when those words never came out of my mouth. I asked her why she brought that up, and she said I brought it up. Then accused me of cursing at her but couldn't remember what I said. I never asked about a late fee, and up until this point I was very calm and respectful towards her. I only started to get angry and raise my voice (I did not yell) once accusations started coming toward me. I just wanted the payment I made on my personal loan reversed. The only reason I wanted that is because the teller told me, he would reverse the charge for me on my last visit to the bank. Which he did not do. Top to bottom, this bank is full of liars who don't know what they are talking about. When they get called out for how poor their service is, they get defensive and try to place it on you.

While seeking to obtain prequalification/preapproval for a loan, we received terrible service as clients. The process began with a good start as the loan officer, Linda F. appeared to be helpful and ready to assist after conducting the credit report. However, once we began submitting documents we were in the dark as far as not knowing what was occurring or where the process was going while working with them. The loan officer continued to emphasize how busy they were with other clients demonstrating that we were not as important. Therefore, we were being neglected. Emails were not being read which had documents that she requested attached nor was she returning any emails/calls. During a 3-4 week period, our time was basically wasted while working with the lender and company. I had to call to find out what was even happening with the loan several times. She finally declined doing the loan which I'm pretty sure she didn't even ready the most previous emails I had sent. If you are seeking to pursue a home loan or any loan through Central Pacific Bank, I would not recommend working with Linda F. Simply due to the fact that the communication was not present and we felt neglected as clients. Find loan officers willing to work for you and not use them being busy as an excuse. Currently working with a different bank loan officer and they have been helpful from the very beginning. After hearing the excuse after week one, we're grateful that we decided to work with more than one lender. Work with someone that is seeking the best interest of their client.
