Not the most small business friendly bank. We opened an a business account with this bank and have been with them close to 5 year. Impossible to get a business loan or credit card. Their interest rates for line of credit is way too higher compared to other local banks in Hawaii. Very disappointed with their approach to helping small businesses

Your tellers at the drive through need a major attitude adjustment they are been so rude to me the past few times I've made deposits.

Highly recommend this bank and branch building, located between Walmart and Target stores. Very friendly, helpful customer service from bank tellers, account managers, office staff, and security guards. 2 Drive-Thru banking lanes. 2 ATM areas. Spacious building, parking lot, and corner property. Clean indoor and outdoor environments. Nice landscaping and grass areas.

No longer in their dinky building on Puunene, ASB has swanky new digs on Hookele, complete with drive thru services. While this isn't our everyday bank, we utilized them for a pre-qualification letter. Our loan officer, Lisa, was awesome! Great communication, friendly and patient. Online services were easy to navigate and upload documents to. But when it came to uploading our tax returns, we didn't know exactly what forms were needed from that huge stack so we brought them in to Lisa who was more than happy to copy what they needed. OVERALL:Easy to do business with!

It's ridiculous, they let you go to drive through to find out only one lane and only one window is open. You spend 37 minutes here if not more. Great management.

Went In today and tried to fix something and had the worst customer service I've ever had at any establishment. I talked to some lady who claims to be the manager Dareeza with her false lash extensions who was extremely rude and cocky and didn't even want to hear what I had to say. I will be calling the corporate office for such bad customer service. Save your time and go to a different bank. They obviously don't want to work with the customer.

Went to deposit a check into my account and as I waited in line a bank employee came and showed me how to use the ATM to deposit my check instead of wait in line and I was in and out in a flash thanks to the bank worker

We love American Savings Bank. Staff is kind, professional and when we go in with any questions if they cant answer right away they call us the same day after they find out the answer. I have had staff give their bus card with direct line and email to call anytime. We have been now with ASB over decade and so happy. They are our bank for life. I like that the staff has a low turn over. This is a sign of great management. During the pandemic they were bombarded with calls and emails by customers yet still managed to email us back every step of the way and showing grace, patience and compassion. This week we miscalculated our account and a check did not go through but due to Covid-19 they waived the fee and cleared it. Thank you being there for our family during these hard times. When times are tough and your incredibule transpanarncy is pheoninal and your a bank with a heart.
