First of all front desk guy didn’t listen at all to what we wanted! Trying to up sell which is fine but listen! Finally get to our car and it was damaged and dirty all the seats were stained! Now to top it off they charged us $60 dollars for sand in the car ? I guess you are not supposed to go to the beach while in Maui! They said there was food in the car we cleaned it out when we dropped it off! Do not use them! I have never been charged for sand in the car! I guess if you do use them go vacuum the car out and detail it yourself! Here are the photos I took just in case they tried to charge us for the damage. I do not give bad reviews but this is silly!

Our experience with Allsave car rental was nothing but great! We did have to wait a while for assistance due to most of us there just got off the same flight. Only one attendant at first and then a second one showed up to help. Even though we had already pre registered for a car online, there was more paperwork to fill out which was a bit different than other car rentals. I really liked having the option of paying a prepaid price for gas to lock us in a great price and then we didn’t have to worry about filling the car up before returning. This won’t always be a good option for others, all depends on how much you plan on using it and how many miles you put on. Our attendant Dustin was awesome!Karl and Carleen

Oh wow! Never have I had such and easy time with a car rental with experienced staff! Jesse was incredible! He was so knowledgeable and got everything we needed for our trip. He even recommended great places around the island for us to checkout. The nicest and most sincere people in the business for sure

This company does not answer their phone--ON PURPOSE. I recently rented a car from them and even though I received my deposit, I overpaid in prepaid fuel. I also left my wallet in the back seat of the car! My fault, but it has been IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of them and to retrieve my belongings or get a credit back for the prepaid fuel! I called the corporate number and they say they can't do anything about it because they are affiliated business with their own policies, and my best bet was to call them. Hello! They NEVER answer their phone! Bad experience!!!!

Rented a car from nucar rentals first time. Jesse helped me out at counter and was super helpful. Made the process easy and simple. The shuttle driver from airport she was super friendly and helped get my bags up. Car was great definitely renting again when I come to Maui

The service was great, we specifically appreciated the shuttle driver to the airport. She has friendly, enthusiastic and extremely helpful. She expressed her Mahalo for helping with the friends that were affected by the fires. We were moved by love because love always acts unselfishly. We look forward to our next visit and using your services.

Do not rent a car from this company. Take your money and time to a larger company who knows what they are doing. If you are flying into maui pick a rental car company in the airport. It's such an easy experience compared to what my partner and I went though. They have 3 different rental cars companies operating under this one roof (allsave, fox and NU). After traveling back to the island from Europe, which took almost two days, we were met with a long line of people. Each customer took forever to process. So many people were frustrated at how slow and tedious the process was. Once I got my turn the guy behind the desk pulled a fast one on me. He asked if I had insurance, which I said yes. He then said is it full coverage, which it's not. He said they are a small business and something happened yesterday with a rental. He needed me to have full converge. He also told me that he just let 2 people go before me without showing proof of insurance. No where when I rented the car did the agreement state this. I was furious, my partner said just pay it what are we to do. There's no other rental car companies near them, otherwise I would have canceled and rented from someone else. After leaving we looked up the law and no, we were not required to have full coverage insurance to rent the car. I have never been asked this before from a rental car company. I'll be attempting to get my money back and reporting this to the better business bureau.

Do not rent from these people they're ripoff less than two gallons of gas $60.00.Returned to rent sgasando they refused service because I disputed the charges.

This place is a joke! They really make you feel like you need to sign up for an additional $150 of protection in case anything happens with the car while in your possession. The girl kept telling us, “it’s an island and it takes a long time to get parts and blah blah blah if something breaks you’ll responsible for the daily rate even if it takes 2 months to get the parts because it’s an island.” I must have heard it’s an island 17 times while I stood there. My husband decided to just do it and she told us basically you bring this car back as is just fill the gas. When we got the car it was so disgusting. Filthy and just in terrible shape. Then we got charged $60 for sand. There was sand in the car when we got it so clearly they don’t even clean the car so I’m not sure what the big deal is with that. But anyways, we were told of we paid that extra $150 not worry about it!! So frustrating and I will be contacting my bank about the extra fee charged. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone and I won’t be using them ever again.

Our experience with Allsave/Fox car rental in Maui was excellent. Each of the staff members we worked with including the transportation to the rental office, the agent who finalized our contract and provided our vehicle, and the agent who closed out our contract were friendly, professional, efficient women. We rented vehicles with 3 different companies on 3 different islands in Hawaii and Allsave Car Rental provided the BEST customer service by far. Well done!

Finding the initial shuttle pick up area was a little confusing but aside from that everything else was smooth, quick, and painless. Staff was friendly and courteous during pick up and drop off areas. Car was clean and ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend renting from Allsave to others.

They claimed they saw a ash flake and charged me an extra $250.00 when I DONT EVEN SMOKE!!! I rented for 1 and spent all 4 days volunteering at napili park for fire victims, in a fire zone with 40 mph winds, who knows what happened, if anything.. choose car rentals wisely, read reviews..

Jesse was so nice. Great customer service. Had a brand new Toyota Tacoma. Excellent car rental company, will definitely rent again. Reasonable price too. Great communication via texts reminding when to return mahalo!

WARNING FOR ALL - Very poor experience to where I can't understand how there are any Legitimate 5 star reviews. I'm all for a lower price, but in this case I would never do that again. In summary, they didn't have car we reserved, gave us a filthy replacement, company never answers the phone, car broke down half-way through vacation, company NEVER RETURNED 5 MESSAGES left to get a replacement car (including 2 messages to their emergency number), finally got through to someone and got a replacement car delivered, both cars were returned with full tanks and they charged me $70 for gas for no reason. If you pay money to go on a vacation to Maui, rent a car to get around, that car breaks down and you can't get in touch to get a replacement, you are screwed and lose out on part of the vacation you spent time and money to take.I've left a couple other messages with the company to return my call to explain the gas charge, but nothing. So, after many calls, and 7 messages, nobody has EVER returned my call. To be clear, all of my messages were cordial, matter-of-fact, explaining the issues and asking for a return call. I find it particularly horrible that the emergency lines never returned a call from my 2 messages.After we had some initial issues, we looked up some review and found other had the same experience with extra gas charges and nobody ever returning a call to explain it.Needless to say, I'm disputing the charge through my credit card company.OVERALL, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!

I rented a Jeep for a few days at the end of July. I did the upgrade and the car was very nice. However what was not nice was the person that “helped us” Dustin, basically lied to me because he said that their gas prices for refueling were even better than Costco so to not bother to fill up. Little did I know that i was charged 96 dollars for prepaid fuel and the rate was $5.60 absolutely different to the price in their office. Also on my report said that i used more than half when i barely used a little over quarter of a tank. I sent an email to ask about all this and nobody cared to reach out. I asked for an itemized bill and he said i would get one.. i only got it at the return and it was very upsetting to say the least.
