My kids (ages 11 & 15) had an AMAZING experience with Action Sports (Surf Club Maui)!! They were able to get up on the board on the first try. It was really well organized and the surf instruction was incredible. Out instructor, Jonathan, was so patient and helpful. My kids loved every minute. He did such a great job teaching them, that they were able to get up on a surf board on their own the next day when we rented them. Highly recommend!!!

I took two 3-hour private Kiteboarding lessons during the 2020 Christmas holidays. The experience was terrific, and I had a great time both days. Both Becky and Gonzo were great instructors, very didactic and pedagogic, explaining the theory of Kiteboarding thoroughly and proving tips and tricks that allowed me to progress quickly. Suzy was also outstanding, and she helped me secure lessons even though it was a hectic time of the year. I 100% recommend taking classes or a course with Action Sports Maui.

These guys were phenomenal. Had Kiteboarding lessons for my 6&8 yr old sons, as well as myself. Kevin and Christian in particular were great! HIGHLY recommend.

Very accommodating. The wind was cooperating for my kite boarding lesson and they were able to switch it to surf at the last minute. I had so much fun and caught many waves. My instructor was great and attentive. Mahalo!

Amazing experience kiting with Action Sports Maui! Great instructors! Dave and Suzie are so helpful and fun! My husband and I have learned so much from them! They taught my husband how to foil and got me confident riding in Maui wind and waves! Best school on the island!

During our visit to Maui, Action Sports Maui looked after our family superbly matching their tuition and training to our individual skill levels. Our time with them was spent in a caring, safe and fun environment and we will be sure to continue with them when we next visit.

We had such a great time with Action Sports! Dave and Suzie are great! Dave mixes safety with fun and Suzie is super knowledgeable and has options for everyone, wheather you want to surf, windsurf, SUP, foil, kite, or...?. They're both super fun and energetic people and definetaly improved out vacation on Maui. We both highly recommend Action Sports.

Starting with the good- I did appreciate that they were able to accommodate us last minute. We booked the same day. However, we were not told that we would not be actually getting on a board for the kiteboarding lesson. We sat on the beach for the great majority of the lesson with the kite. I felt that if this would have been communicated to me I would not have paid $360 and spent our last hours on Maui doing this. The teacher was nice but disorganized. She was not there when we arrived and didn't have the correct pump for the kite. We waited while she ran all over the beach to try to find someone else to pump it up. Overall it was a waste of our last little bit of time on the island and money and I would not recommend it unless you fully understand what you will be doing.
