I have been quite impressed with there services. My mom who is currently there does not complain. They are attentive and makes sure she is doing good. She is also turned to relieve sores. They are also very patient with her. Thank you for taking such good care of her. They really put my mine to rest. She was very resistance but now she is happy with the choice.Thank you again:)

I went in for back pain and edema and from the moment I entered I felt confident in my care. The medical staff was so nice and treated me and my guests so well. They really seemed to care about me and my needs. I routinely got checked in on. They were quick to get results to me and to inform me of what the next step was. I hated leaving there to go to the bigger hospital for more specialized care.

My boyfriend was really sick and I took him into kahuku hospital to be seen. We waited a while and the receptionist was a little rude and sarcastic. But for the most part he was helpful. My concern was a nurse who introduced herself as "Tesla". From when she walked in she gave me an unpleasant look which already made me feel uncomfortable. It was as if she didn't want me in the room. She then seemed unprofessional with her procedures. My boyfriend said she was rubbing the needle into his skin for an uncomfortably long time, which he thought was weird because none of the nurses ever did that. She also kept touching his arm supposedly to feel how cold he was but the way she touched him made him and I feel really uncomfortable. She touched and rubbed his arm at least 3 times and when she took his temperature she was leaning her body into him uncomfortably close. She practically had her body pressed onto his! And when I asked her what she was doing to him she gave me a cold look as if she didn't need to respond then said something quietly under her breath. But she didn't give me a real response. It was extremely inappropriate and disgusting behavior! Me and my boyfriend had to request another nurse because we felt uncomfortable with her professionalism. Kahuku hospital please have "Tesla" consider another profession that is more suitable for her personality and delivery. Or have soMeone monitor her with patients because I don't think she's performing her procedures accordingly. A nurse is supposed to take care of a patient, not rub his body and touch him unnecessarily! I'm mortified by the experience and she should be ashamed! I really hope this uncomfortable behavior is looked at so it doesn't continue to new patients. If she touches him like that again we will get report her to the police for harassment. Also the receptionist was nice enough to let us change nurses but he refused to give me her name. I feel like in a situation dealt with a patient it should be handled professionally and where the workers are not backing up their Friends but instead doing what's right for their job title. I hope and pray Tesla's professionalism gets looked into. Overall what got to me the most about the whole situation was her attitude towards my reaction. Even if I somehow read her the wrong way why was she holding on so strong to get her way with my boyfriend? She saw me getting upset and seemed to exaggerate her affectionate actions towards him more. And she was making it clear that she was gonna do what she wanted whether I liked it or not. I'm still shook by the experience. That was the first time I felt like someone was violating someone I care about and I couldn't do anything about it. I pray the management can at least talk to her for me so I can get some closure from this. As a working professional please be kind and respectful to all patients. Even if I wasn't the patient I was allowed to bring in my boyfriend who couldn't even drive and if I'm there by his side then make it a pleasant experience for everyone. It's not about how much fun you have or what cool person you get to meet. It's about performing your task professionally not personally. If you don't like your patients girlfriend then too bad! Put on a fake smile and be professional like everyone else! You aren't there to make friends! And I don't care how long you were a nurse or how long you worked there....everyone needs to professional! You don't get to slide!

Went to Kahuku Medical Center to the ER to receive an IV Antibx. Had a great experience with Daniel, RN and Grace Packard, MD who was detailed in her exam and medical history. Overall, the care was great!

Super happy the hospital opened a dental clinic in Kahuku and was even more happy to see familiar faces with the doctor and hygienist. I had seen Dr. Swaja in the past and was always impressed with how thorough and professional he is. He did some extensive work on me years ago and it still looks and feels great. Nice to have a top quality dentist back on north shore. Also the hygienist Markee is amazing! She is very gentle, gives me great tips on better teeth care, and of course my mouth always feels better when I leave. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcome and did not dread being in the dental office ha ha ha! The staff is really great too! Happy to be a patient!

Love this Medical Center! Fairly new as I was going to a nearby clinic but once my Pediatrician moved I moved here too and haven't looked back. Nurses are great, reception too. Very clean space and you get great care here. I've also used the labs, xray, physical therapy and all my experiences here have been great!!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs good care by great dr's and staff.

I've called multiple times over the past two years for information or with questions. Without fail the secretaries/PSRs that answer are disrespectful, ignorant of process or policy, contradict one another, and, in general, offer sub-par customer service.

KMC is excellent and provides top of the line dentistry. Dr. Tanya Karnavy is exceptional. My 16-year-old daughter has severe autism. She would not even walk in the clinic she was so scared. Dr. Karnavy and her awesome assistant, Peja, met my daughter outside and did the exam just outside the clinic at a picnic table. I had tears of joy I was so happy. Other dentists wanted to strap her down for an exam or fully sedate her. Dr Karnavy met my daughter where she was that day and really got her. My daughter even had fun! Peja is a great assistant and Lisa was so good and patient with figuring out my insurance. KMC is the best! I can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing my three children, especially my daughter with severe special needs, can get outstanding care.

Oh where to start....sending my father home while having a heart attack? Yup. No joke. ER is HORRENDOUS. As the ER is discharging my dad, he is holding his chest saying, "oh II still have this pain". He was given the name of a cardiologist to call on Monday. This was a Friday night.. as he continued to hold his chest once in the car, I put the pedal to the medal and got to QMC Punchbowl. I called and told them we are coming in hot. Without missing a beat, my dad was hooked up to a heart monitor STAT at QMC Punchbowl and a code was called immediately. He was having an active heart attack. Kahuku said call on Monday. He would be dead. As for my own health, the primary care clinic misssed two cancer dx on me that I caught. Hughes was a good doctor until he became medical director. Let's face it, he is in over his head. And would someone teach the guy how to multitask. I'll never go back to Hughes or Kahuku. Oh, and the magic underwear they all wear...Just another reason to pick another facility.

I am so grateful for the awesome team at KMC that has helped every member of my family at one time or another. We have babies, kids, teens, adults, and seniors. The team there is top notch- great bedside manner and experts in their fields.

I had the unfortunate ankle roll into a broken foot...however, I had the fortune of meeting some of the most caring people I've ever met. From the nurses to the imaging did to the doctor...they treated this tourist in such a kind, professional way. Special thanks to Alana for going beyond out of her way to take care of me. Mahalo!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR MEDICAL CARE!!!! While visiting Oahu on vacation, my son hurt his right shoulder. We went in to get it checked out at Kahuku Medical Center by Dr. James Woo, since it was close to where we were staying. They barely manipulated his arm, took 2 x-rays and gave him some Advil and said "nothing wrong- he'll be fine!" We arrive home a day later and by this point, my son's shoulder is really hurting him. He requested a sling because it was hurting so much. We go to his pediatrician (who is actually a GOOD doctor and took the time to evaluate the injury) and after a few x-rays (the exact same ones we had in Hawaii)- he tells me that my son's right clavicle is broken. Kahuku Medical Center is garbage and it's shameful the level of care they provide. Do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else!!

VERY BAD accounting / business office procedures. In August 2016 I visited Turtle Bay resort with my family for vacation. During this visit my daughter had allergy and we decided to go to emergency room to check it. Before we go there, I called my health insurance provider to make sure this visit is covered, which they assured it is. We spent about 15 minutes at Kanuku Medical Center emergency room, where the doctor looked at my daughter and suggested to take Benadryl to cure

We spent about 15 minutes at Kanuku Medical Center emergency room, where the doctor looked at my daughter and suggested to take Benadryl to cure allergy. No any other procedures were provided. Our vacation over and we left home. After six months we received statement from Kahuku Medical Center claiming that we own $665.80 for that visit! The amount of the bill, considering time spent with us and amount of service provided, seems too excessive to me. I called a few times Kahuku Medical Center billing department and asked to provide me an actual bill where I can see all treatment provided listed, but I never received it. Over the last three week I called Kahuku Medical Center eight times trying to resolve and close the issue. Nobody was able to help me out. I been told that supervisor of billing department might be able to help me out. I called her four time, but never able to speak her directly. All the time I got voicemail. I left numerous voice messages asking to call me back, but it's never happened. Finally I decided to them a check for $150 which considering service provide more then fair and enclosed the letter explaining my intention to close this case. Guess what, they sent me to collection! SHAME ON YOU, Kuhuku Medical!!!
