This place can get busy so pace yourself. The food is worth the wait. I love garlic shrimp, but I got steak today with garlic sauce on the rice. Mmmmm. There are a lot of seating here and it's very touristy. The seating is open and fresh air is always nice

Friendly and blazing fast service. I liked it so much we went back to this truck twice in a week. I've had the steak and shrimp twice because my little one likes it. Also ordered the spicy squid and shrimp was very good also. So buttery garlicky so yummy.

Overall the flavors are very good best shrimp I've had on the island and the shells are soft so you don't have to peel it, one thing is the flavor is prob the best I've tasted but it's a little greasy if you care about that.

Today I ordered the shrimp and steak. Flavor was good, just didn't like all the human hair included with my steak. One hair usually doesn't bother me too much, but 8 pieces, seriously?!?! I think maybe someone was literally pulling out their hair to include with steak, maybe to stretch a meal?!?! I was so grossed out, I threw away my $18 plate. Yes, my last time there. Hopefully the health department doesn't go and eat there.

Good stuff, outdoor picnic bench dining..roosters eating out of the trash can and stray cats eating whatever is on the ground! Great show!

I went here twice... You must try the coconut shrimp with it. When added with the freshness of lemon sauce, it reduces the greasiness of shrimp oil and increases the taste by 300%.

Authentic Korean garlic shrimp and squid. Good amount of food with a reasonable price. If you stop by Kahuku area. You should try this. Spicy enough ??.

No matter how busy they are, orders are made QUICKLY which is crazy bc at the same time, food comes out hot and fresh! Ya, their shrimp must not be fresh either like Romy's but still so ono! Their shrimp is always great quality, never too over cooked, always cooked right! And their garlic sauce, LOADED all over your plate and rice, the best garlic shrimp on the island in my opinion! I can never get tired of this place! Nothing can ever beat kahuku's famous shrimp truck. I just wish they kept their truck down at waialua side open, that would be so much closer to where I live.

Personally I like this place more than Giovanni's !! It is extremely flavorful /buttery & packed with garlic but the taste is better imo. It is slightly sweet but pairs really well with the garlic rice and or mac. They also give you a lot of shrimp so it's a great deal! The location is in an area with a lot of other food trucks and can be found near the smoothie/ taco. But keep in mind the ambiance does have a bit of a manure smell often times due to there being some chickens around.

One of many food trucks to choose from. Industrial level crowds on a holiday (President's Day) with a car club in the parking lot and lots of tour groups. We got the shrimp and steak, and the shrimp and mahi for $18 each. As you can see from the photos, you get copious amounts of butter sauce. Great if you like butter, not so great if you're on a diet! Recommend asking for light or no sauce. The shrimp is already drowning in it. The steak isn't a filet, but chop steak. There was gristle in about 10% of it if you like that kind of thing. The mahi was a thin filet and soaking in butter sauce. The shrimp was soggy from butter and didn't seem freshly cooked. Should you expect much from a food truck? Depends on your expectations. I just got done surfing and was starving. It did the job in filling me up. Would I eat here again? If I was pau surfing again...maybe. I'm kinda scared if I'm gonna have stomach ache later from butter poisoning

The famous shrimp truck was quite tasty! We came right before it was closed so perhaps the shrimps are a little bit cold. But the flavor was delicious! The sauce really seeded into the shells, and I actually ate the whole thing , shell and all! Reiss was a perfect addition to the sauciness of the shrimp . Service was overall fairly quick, and pre-standard for a food truck ambiance!

The shrimp here is better than all the other shrimp in downtown Waikiki.Recommended if you like to eat thicklyOther places are just neat shrimp. These days, Giovanni's is so salty that it suits Korean tastes. We ate twice
