The place is really cool and a good change of pace from the norm on Oahu. While it's definitely not cheap, the prices are similar to premium subs/hoagies at other places. If you want authentic Philly cheesesteaks, this is the best place on island, hands down. The food comes out fast and the folks are extremely pleasant.

Not bad for being outside of Philly. The amoroso bread is what makes it. They even got the same ketchup packets they have in Philly. Wished they had some heavy mayo though. Closest Cheesesteak we can get that similar to what we had back at home. Prices are decent for Hawaii. Will definitely return.

I've only discovered this place a couple months ago and have gone back a few times because these sandwiches are LEGIT. The cheesesteak and their italian subs are my go-tos, and they're delicious. Melts in your mouth with tons of flavor. I would buy to one dine in and another one to go for later. I don't understand how there isn't a line out the door, especially at a place as busy as JBPHH. There's a tv with ESPN always on, lots of seating, decent parking. The lady taking your order is super friendly. It's behind and around the corner from the mini mart/Subway on Pearl Harbor, off N Rd. A star is knocked off because it's a couple more dollars than I would spend normally, but I love sandwiches, and sandwiches love me, so I consider it worth it.

Since we left the east coast, I've been on a hunt to find a cheese steak that reminds me of a true Philly cheese steak. After 6 years I can say Phillies located at Breeman liberty center on Pearl Harbor is a must try location! Highly recommend!!! Friendly, Fast food and now my favorite go to!!

Phillies Philly cheesesteak with the old school Cheez Whiz option definitely brought back memories on the boardwalk shores of Seaside Heights and Wild Wood in Jersey that would serve Philly cheesesteaks. Amazing flavors and the size would definitely curb most appetites.Any customer that complains of prices just stick to your “used car lot” mentality cause if you want to experience the better things in life such as fresh quality ingredients (shipped from Philly) then you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that you get what you pay for. Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve had in years!!!The service and atmosphere was enjoyable and great. The Philly memorabilia on the walls really adds to the awesome experience.Watch out Jersey Mikes and Charley’s Cheesesteaks cause Phillies Cheesesteak and Hoagies is in town!!! Definitely recommend!

Pretty decent place on base. It is an entrance that is right behind the old Beeman liberty center. If you see the sign that says Phillies from the street near the NEX, go to the other side of the building and you will find the entrance. Parking is spotty, so prepare for a small walk. Not much waiting when you come in early (around the time that they open up), so it is easy to get a quick bite in before heading back to work. Inside is clean has plenty of seating space to sit down and enjoy some good food.For the food, I got a cheesesteak with fried onions and cheese whiz with some cheesey curly fries and some mozzarella sticks. All pretty solid in my opinion. A bit on the pricey side, but it will fill you up really well, and I say this as someone who can eat enough for two people. The cheesesteak alone can be a filler for some, so come prepared with an appetite. Lots of options to customize it as well as other styles of cheesesteak. Appetizer options are plentiful as well as drinks. Fountain drinks aren't available at the time of writing this, but they have plenty of canned and bottled drink options to choose from.Overall, it is a hidden gem of a place on base that I don't hear talked about too often. Sure, the hours are only for lunch time, but it is definitely worth it if you have the time to go. One of the best cheesesteaks that I have had on the island so far and I will highly recommend this if you are ever bringing someone on base and want to get lunch, or are already on base with some time to kill and an empty stomach.

Easily the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I've had on island, and one of the best I've ever had. They serve chopped steak sandwiches with your choice of American, Provolone, or Cheez Whiz. It was around $21 for a meal (sandwich, curly fries, and a drink), expensive, but you most certainly get what you pay for. This place is the prime example of a sleeper restaurant, and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

25$ for a hogue, fries and drink..... garbage!Small sub, no fountain drinks and closed mwr center all adds , feels like a used car lot offering 25% interest .

For what it’s worth and where you’re at, including Hawaii prices, it cures being hungry. Ordered the Philly (half) with added mushrooms and a hot pepper relish. A little over priced for base food. Probably why there was only two civilians eating there when I arrived and no military folks during lunch. On the plus side, food came out quick and the cashier/cook/server was extra nice.
