No longer a great place to shop. Have to get checkout downstairs. Online pickup spot is just for decoration. No employees ever walked up to check on me 3 times I came to this spot. I had to get to them. Is Zara shortstaffed or something? Every employee is like a turtle.

Zara was founded in Spain in 1974, with numerous locations around the world. This shop is colossal, taking up 2 corner-floor spots in Ala Moana Center.
MY EXPERIENCE:
The name sounded high end, and the facade looked promising, but my curiosity and excitement became pedestrian as I browsed around. Most of the men's clothing were simply not for me, with odd patterns, uninspiring prints, and unimaginative colors. I found a few items acceptable, but the low prices made me think twice about its quality. Also, the fabrics felt paltry to the touch. On a positive note, the store was clean and organized.
OVERALL:
I guess I'm more of a CK/Banana Republic/Macy's kinda guy lol. Zara, H&M, Urban Outfitters... not for me.

Purchased some items today the cashier thinks it's a joke to roll your items in a ball and throw them in a bag. I get home and all my clothes are wrinkled up in a ball so i will bring them back and walk up to the same ignorant cashier and have him steam out all the wrinkles in front of his manager.

The staff in the fitting room is not friendly at all and doesn’t know how to be flexible with certain situations. She talks in a rude attitude as well.
Staff without glasses + two glass ring bracelets.
She was not professional at all. My mom and i were both full hands and were barely holding our stuffs and clothes. The staff could help us or ask in nicer attitude to put our clothes back with hangers on.

Love clothing at store. Purchased a blouse for me and a tee shirt shirt for my husband. Tee shirt needed to be exchanged for a larger size. My husband misplaced the receipt but we went to the store with the credit card transaction on his phone.
Stood in line to wait, then we were told that we had to contact Customer Service on Monday, that “Customer Service was closed on the weekend!!!”
Called on Monday, waited a long time on hold, then told that a return needed to be processed, and that it would take 2 days for them to process it and send us an authorization to take to the store! This is the worst customer service policy and process that we have experienced.
All we wanted was to exchange the tee shirt size. After this experience, we decided to take a return and not give you the business. You need to revisit your policy.

First time I stepped foot in Zara and was kind of overstimulated from all the nice clothing, and I couldn't make a decision on what to buy ( was on a budget) but the cashier, Tiana, was very helpful and so nice! Usually cashiers are grumpy and not in the mood to help me choose outfits but Tiana went out her way to show me all the things she bought and her reviews on the clothing! Thank you Zara! please continue to hire helpful people

I got terrible experience here with Tiana at the register. She was so rude to customers with mean face .
It seems like she is not the right person at that position . A lot of tourists came from all over the world but she gives them bad vibes about Hawaii. I also came here with my family members enjoy my vacation. But she ruined my day because of her bad attitude.
I had a lot of experience with Hawaiian people was so kind and nice but she wasn’t . I feel like someone needs to take the place of her not to make upset visitors anymore.

Very recently, I had an absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful experience in fitting room. While I accompanied my daughter, who is a minor, the assistant in fitting room said I have to wait for family room for 2 of us and that I was not allowed to go with her to a regular one. In fact, she sternly prohibited me from coming with my daughter, which I found ridiculous. Both my daughter and I have been doing this for a while and neither of us finds a problem with it. This policy is new for me, and this is not my first time shopping in Zara all over the world. I let my minor daughter to go alone in an available fitting room and was instructed to wait outside, and my daughter had to step out every time to show me the clothes she tried on which was very inconvenient. In my shopping experience in many stores at the Ala Moana Center, I was able to go in fitting room even with my husband. My daughter and I found it very uncomfortable that I could not accompany her.
A little while later, I became very dizzy and felt faint. I had been on foot for a while and was tired. I asked an assistant, Monica, for help by getting me a chair, to which she replied that I would need to go outside. Meanwhile, upon asking another assistant, Latisha, I was given the chair. I warned Monica that I felt unwell, and told her that if I pass out, she will need to call 911. The response I received was, “do you have a phone?” It was extremely noticeable that they were very unhappy with all my questions and that I was bothering them. I have never experienced this kind of treatment at the store. I witnessed as well how they reacted when people returned clothes without purchasing anything—it seemed all around like they were shaming them for just trying and not buying.
Overall, it was very disrespectful and I have one word: Wow! I’m going to skip shopping at this store from now on, to avoid dealing with this “professionalism”. Zara, do better!
